we are under a heat warning with the index today...
1pm- 8pm tonight...
guess where I am going to be...
coleus...
I do want to get out really early this morning and get some things watered so they make it through the heat...
we had 2 tomatoes blushing last night...
and we picked the 2nd pepper...
one lonesome pretty white bloom...
we need rain...
after all we got before, we are on day 10, I think...
without a drop...
I loved playing on our golf course here in town...
but that was years ago now...
we had a fire in the bus garage earlier in the year...
but its all rebuilt and new buses are ready to go...
won't be long...
just 3 weeks and the kids will be back in the classrooms...
just a simple little town street...
heading east from the square...
stay in and stay cool today...
;0)
yesterday was a bit hot, but nothing like its going to be today...
can't wait for the cooler temps to come back in a couple days...

Tete, Hoping God can re adjust his sprinklers...it's too much or too little. We got a small rain Sunday evening...it helped the lawn. But there's water still standing out in the counties. We had the 2nd wettest June and Now we are getting near breaking the title for the wettest July in Indiana history of weather . You can understand why we have so many bugs and mosquitoes. Love seeing your flowers, veggies. Stay cool dear friend, xoxo,Susie
90 today here, but no heat warning. I certainly hope that all, in your area, are able to stay cool. One way or the other. At home with A/C. Or out in a mall or something, which has A/C.
Ya' know what I worry about.... When the day comes, that having A/C will have gotten so expensive, that we ordinary people, will not be able to afford it.<---There! Now I gave you something to worry about, on top of the heat! What are friends for, hu? -ducking, running and hiding-
Cool hugs,
Tessa
Yes, it was a hot one today! I actually watered twice today and had to throw some annuals away that I had in some pots. I'm not sure down by you Tete, but we're supposed to get some rain tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed!
