Mosquito non toxic fix:

If you have a stagnate pond or ditch or water area etc. Simply find some whole prickly pear. Many people give it away and cut shred or scar it up and put in the water. It has a natural oil that inhibits mosquito breeding for the REST of the year. And its natural. Do watch the little itty bitty spines. Duct tape is best to remove them if you do get some. You can put a little in bird baths too. No part of the plant is toxic. In fact all parts of the plant are edible with care of course.

Ok- found this online- does anyone know if it works???? Let me know if you try this...I have no idea where to find a prickly pear...HELP!
