its all about Abby...

we love this dog...

she learned to play with toys...

and she caught on pretty good...
this is what seal brains look like, in case you ever wondered...

she pulls hard on the lead when you walk her...

and we have been working with her to stop that...

and she is fine until we hit the road...
and she just wants to run...

its all Craig could do to keep her from pulling him into the corn field...

but she is so smart...
she would learn not to pull with whoever gets her...
if they just spend a little time on it...

Craig trying to calm her down before we start back home...

she is pure muscle...

and she can sit and lay down...
on command...
for bacon strips...
we are so going to miss her when she leaves her Saturday...

and Charlie will be heart broken...
but we did our part...
and she is ready to find her home now...
she has come so far in just a week...
and the woman who worked with her for 2 weeks at the shelter did an amazing job with her...

started the baby kittens on slop tonight and spoon fed them...
they did pretty good...
I think its too soon, but the vet said to go for it...
so here we go...
we may only have them another couple of weeks...
and will be in harvest time full swing...
and I will need a break by then...
so, the high school football games have begun...
the pool is closed...
mums are for sale...
and pumpkins are almost ready for picking...
could it be that time of year again?
;0)
I think so...

oh, how the days fly by...

stripped the deck...

washed the linens and threw them back on...
just little things like that happening here...

and then there is this one...
gone soon...
praying the man who asked about her today will adopt...
but either way, she will gone from here by Saturday...
she is just too big for me to handle on the leash...
and she has pulled me so much, that I flared...
so from now on, the guys will only let me do dogs that are 20 lbs or less...
if I didn't have the fibro and arthirtis...
if we were younger, she would be staying with us forever...
she is so sweet...
and her and Charlie are best buddies now...

and I am just itching to get to the beds...
to ready them for winter...
to have it all done...

but this is how I have been the last couple of days...
and we had to make a crisis trip to the vet while I was flaring with the kitties...
got them wormed and the poopies are finally abating...
but they are healthy in spite of it all...
and at 3 1/2 weeks, the vet said to start weening them...
I need to start getting photos of them and getting them posted on facebook...
to find them their forever homes...
and then that should be the last litter...

and the days keep rolling by...
its just going too fast...
and then there's laundry and dishes and cooking...
and I turn around and have to do it all over again...
do you ever have days like that?
weeks?
;)
have a good week...
I'll be back soon...
