the best kind of snow, if there is any...

the kind that plasters itself to everything...

and hopefully disappears in one day...

got another limb down that was stuck after the ice storm...

this line has wind with it...

and so goes the life of a prairie chick...

crawling back into bed now...

it better be at least half gone when I get back up...

it could have been worse...

we got between 2 and 3 inches through the night...

it's still coming down but almost finished...

so heads up all of you east of me...

it's headed your way...

the one good thing is that it won't last long...

high of 47 today...

hopefully it's gone by supper time...

my dad...

he is still in the hospital...

he will be there until they get the UTI cleared up...

my step mom went to the local Walmart...

got her hair washed and cut...

she has to go back to work on Monday...

she may need the rest of her sick time later...

because we just don't know what's coming up...

it could and probably will get a whole lot worse...

they may have to sedate him to keep him calm...

but today was a good day for him and her...

he slept through most of it...

but she is so tired of sitting, standing, reading, watching tv...

cause she's a doer...

a hard worker, never knows when the day is done kind of girl...

she's been in that hospital room 10 days with him calling out...

fighting her on bad days...

when his sugar is up...

dealing with doctors, nurses and the vampires, as she calls them...

she said she had no clue how many times they had stuck dad since he's been in there...

but he bruised all over...

he's tired...

and he is like me when it comes to meds and antibiotics...

they go right through...

and he hates when they come to change the bed...

roll this way, was it all under him...

and roll him to the other side and then back again...

I know he doesn't understand and he is just wore out...

it is time...

that's what I'm praying for...
