my nightstand...

I thought about doing this...but done it before...
so I put the doilie on the nightstand...and left the lamp clean...

then I grabbed the last flower pot I had bowed up...stuck some home made tags from Terri in there...
and then some lilacs...silk of course...and my little bear that didnt' sell...
and this is how it came out...
I like it...
its girlie...
still working out the rest of the room...
and the bathroom night light I showed you before in the daytime...
this is how it looks after dark...
just enough light to find your way to the potty in the middle of the night with one eye open...
sweet dreams and a peaceful night...

sources of inspiration...

Terri left a bag of magazines for me this morning...
and while I was waiting for Rebecca to call...
I flipped through a few of them...

after lunch playtime...

Georgie and Mr Wiggles with the yucca plant...
Boofy and  Doofus...on a mission...
pounce and wait...
Craig's rainy day playtime project...
Rebecca got these boxes from work...
they are all the same and perfect for storing things on the top shelf in the closet or in a bookcase...
getting there...
remember where's waldo?...this is our version....where's Georgie?...
can you see him now?..
looking for something to attack...
looks like a gunfight stand off...
yucca bloom...
plotting against us...
make time for playtime today...
you will feel so much better...

texture...

I love texture...
almost any texture...
these are all things that surround my workplace on the computer...

lumpy, bumpy, swirly things make me smile...
even smooth things that have depth...
I love the old crock bowls...this one is a small reproduction...I bought it as a gift one Christmas to someone else...but found her one later in her color(tan)...and I didn't have to part with it...
this is another item I have bought off of Nova through the years...
we have kind of developed this circle of life for things we no longer want...
we just pass them around...
from one heart to another...
to be loved all over again...
until its time to pass it on to the next heart...
my circle of friends are always with me that way...
and each piece reminds me of them...
who's in  your heart today?...
Steve's great grandparents
been looking for them for a long time...
found them in the last 2 days...
still putting the pieces together...
