this evening on the prairie...

the yard looks so nice this early after mowing...
today was our last hot day for awhile...and the sunset looks so pretty...

things were a little bare...

and no leaves on the trees at all...this was the first time the mower guy had mowed...

he's already mowed three times this year... its all the 80 degree weather...

this is the last day of it for awhile...

rain tomorrow...50% chance...

and then back in the 60's...where we should be this time of the year...

I had a friend who buried her dad yesterday afternoon...
I just read in the paper that another very old friend just lost her mom...

we just seem to be in that time of our lives for good byes...

the knowledge we have gained from our parents we get to keep...

and their unconditional love remains...

even when they are gone...
