the rain is coming in soon...

been a long day, even if we did get up late...
the cotton wood fuzz is all over here...
I need to slow down a little bit...
columbine coming up where we really don't want it...
how many pedals so you think this old bike went through?
and I'm hoping to have this planted in wave petunias...
need to clean it out first...
just glad the birds didn't make a nest in here...
Doug brought our truck back this afternoon and stayed for supper...
BBQ pork chops, baked potatoes and veggies...
spokes have always fascinated me...
and now for some shadows...
and pretty color...
our mower guy's helper mowed today and he brought his brother who was visiting from Wisconsin...
I told him I had blogging friends up north who are waiting for their spring and he laughed and said it might happen by the time he gets back home...
he was enjoying his time here...
we just had our last cooler day, I hope...
they are calling for 80s next week...
I just want a happy medium...
70s from here until October...
hope you all have a great evening...
I think I am going to go change into my night gown and take it easy...
maybe an early night since I missed my nap...
I'm already yawning...

rummage finds...

shelving...
to sell in the booth...
I don't really need it in my booth...
my booth is very small...
but someone else will grab it...
$2
I know what it's used for but can't think of what it's called...
so if you could help me out here...
it's going to be a stand for something fun...
that I will show you later...
going in my booth to sell...
$1
love the details...
valance...
for my kitchen windows for spring and summer...
in the washer now...
$1
hanging watering can...
will get a paint job and go in my booth...
$1
bedroom lamps...
will sell as is...
$3
and there's the haul...
also got an end table for $5...
what do ya think?

got up late...
really late...
9am!
OH!
MY!
GOSH!
was sitting here trying to wake up enough to get a shower and dressed...
and wouldn't you  know it?
the mower guys show up!
yippee skippy...
as Rebecca would say...
so throw something on...
go out and talk to them and pay them...
back inside...
brunch...
shower...
clothes...
go get  the mail...
stop by the hardware...
didn't have what I wanted from the sale flyer...
on our way home and see a sign...
RUMMAGE SALE...
circle the block...
you know how it is...
my first in a couple years...
not very much good stuff at all...
but I got the best they had...
and it will give me something different in my booth...
and I can make a little, too...
not a lot...
but that's ok...
because it's the thrill of it...
right?
now, to play catch up...
so much to do and the day's almost gone!

is it nap time yet?

have a super fun day!
