today's blessings...

good afternoon...

the sun burnt off the fog quickly this morning and left a sunny, cool day to play in...

I got absolutely nothing done...

photos, a walk, lunch, a nap and a little DIY watching...

today is so perfect...

I love days when you dress in layers...

and slowly peel them away as the hands move forward on the clock...

the days are getting so short now...

but there is so much beauty left...

and so much color...

I am going to let these seed now...

and then just throw it in one of my flower beds to decompose over the winter...

and just maybe...

there will be a few little surprises in next summer's garden...

storing up those blessings for the long winter months...

this is cool...

we have a dense fog advisory this morning...

but it looks like it's already lifting...

it's the moisture drops in the fog...

it's a bit nippy out this morning...

and last night...

on our late night walk...

Craig and I could SEE our breath...

now tell me we are not ready for that part!

I love fog...

it's cozy...

I love rainy days...

they're cozy...

I'm all about cozy...

it's one of my all time favorite things...

so girlies, when I post about the rain and gloom...

I'm loving it...

every stinkin' minute of it...

it's my calm...

my cozy...

my cocoon...

gloomy makes me happy...

makes me slow down...

lovin' the long sleeves...

blankets...

a good book...

brownies...

and all the peace that brings...

take time to be cozy today...

and enjoy the gloom...
