yard sale finds and Precious...

a make up mirror- 50 cents...
3 small stainless bowls for the animals- $1...
rose teapot- 50 cents...
baby shirts- fre...

baby shirts were given to us for the animals when the lady heard why we needed them...
dogie biscuit was made by one of the schools for the rescue...

easy to wash and take care of...

it came with the cord and all, but I will use it for a pretty...

a puppy carrier...
brand new...
can you see the sticker price?
$1

I can use it haul Charlie everywhere we go now...

and meet Precious...

our newest foster...

and I found out early this morning...
that there are several people asking about her...

and possibly she could be meeting her forever family and be spending next weekend in her new home...
I have more to photograph on the yard sales, but there's laundry going and a nap waiting for me and the doggies...
this mom is busy all the time...
there are 10 animals here right now that need fed and changed and all that fun stuff...
toys strung from one end of the house to another...
;0)
just like have kids again...

that Charlie just is amazing...
he welcomes each newby in and he works with them to show them the ropes around here...
he gives up his baby bed and shows them the toys...
lets them eat first...
but...
he is treating the little lady a bit different than he treats the guys...
he is more gentle...

baby kitties are about 10 days of leaving here to find their homes...
need to get their photos and get them posted of facebook...
might get them adopted before then...
would be nice to know that they already have a home...
but an adoption fee applies to these...

antibiotics are working and feeling better every day...
its still in the 50s here...
it could warm up a little bit, but at least the sun is shining today!
have a good weekend...

it really feels like fall...

had a storm go through the other night and the door went down...
it had never done that before...

and the beans are turning, some more than others...
the ones behind us are a little slower than most...
but they are beginning to take the corn out...
the moisture is so high...

which will mean a nightmare of a harvest on the elevators...
it will all have to be run through driers...

and a neighbor gave me 2 boxes of chickens and roosters...
that someone had given her...
got a vintage pair of s&p shakers in the lot...

well, we made the switch yesterday around noon...
Zoso is on his way to his new home...
and Precious joined our merry bunch of misfits...
photos later...
she is a bit scared and will need some time to adjust...

Craig and I hit Newman's city wide pre sale yesterday afternoon and did we ever do good...
that never happens!
one of us usually does ok or good and the other doesn't...
so for both of us to hit the big time...
was so cool...
got another wheel chair there and some fun things that I will try to get photos of today or tomorrow so I can post them...
the prices were insanely low, too...

its the wee hours of the morning here...
48 outside!
high of 61, it says..
digging out the long sleeves and wearing pants...
got some hoodies out, too...
even put on a pair of gloves last night to walk the doggies...

its about time to get the furnace on here...
chili sometime this weekend...
I am ready for that...
