We got 5 inches so far...

wind chill here now is -1...
but before the sun went down...
Craig went out and took some shots...
not sure when the wind is supposed to pick up...
and now they are saying more snow through out tomorrow, too...
it's a dry snow...
but this is the beauty of winter...
just wish it wasn't so cold so we could sit outside and enjoy it more...
and that' all there is...

Here we go again...

it's still snowing...
we have between 3-4 inches now...
and then when this gets done...
the wind will pick up tomorrow and blow this stuff everywhere...

hoping all of you are warm and safe...
because I know east of here...
it's worse...
Rebecca and I haven't been getting a lot of comments lately...
and I am beginning to wonder if some of our buddies are without power...
they could be shopping online to get the clearance deals going on out there...
or they could be doing what I should be doing...
cleaning, sorting and purging...
that's happening a little at a time here...
because I don't want to be in here doing spring house cleaning when it finally warms up out there!...
no way...
but where do you begin?
I did get my own number at the antique mall...
got my tags made...
looking for things to go in there...
when Craig can get to town and take out what's in there and replace it with new...
my new number goes into effect on the 1st of next month...
they are also looking for me a place to put my cabinet outside of Rebecca's booth...
hers is so full and she could use the extra room...
but no word on that yet...
and then what comes back here will go on my new blog to sell things!
and I will be getting that started...
cause I got stuff...
too much stuff...
well, it's lunch time for me...

while we sit here and watch the snow come down...

one of my favorite things...

well, maybe more than one...
kisses and taking pictures...
this one is low light with no flash...
now this has more light...
still no flash...
without the flash you lose your auto focus...
so you have to have a steady hand or a tripod...
not every shot is going to make the grade...
so take several of each angle...
at different ranges...
play around with it...
if they don't come out...
delete...
and do it again...
play around with different backgrounds...
I use black and white mostly...
they have negative color and will not change the color of the object you are taking...
don't watch through the view finder...
just stick your hand out and click...
and experiment with light...
the softness...
the direction...
uplighting from the side is my favorite...
it casts more shadows...
adds more depth...
taking photos should be fun...
and the better they come out...
the more fun it is...
and the more you want to try for something different...
so come out of your comfort zone...
and remember to shoot away...
