its a beautiful night...

we missed all the thunderstorms...but the cold front moved through...
and the humidity is gone...
cushion from Terri...
north yard...
Steve wishing I wouldn't point the camera at him...
we sat on the deck for over an hour this evening...with all the cats and the dog...
it was so nice!...
hope you make time to gaze at the full moon...
he's smiling just for you tonight...

just enjoying the day...

my breakfast this morning...I wanted something sweet...which is so unlike me...
I don't do sweets...
then we found this jumbo strawberry in the pack...the one on the left is normal size...
strawberries are the only fruit to have its seeds on the outside...
Georgie and Mr Wiggles trying to find a cool place to nap...
Daphne loves the wicker...
Terri went shopping and bought new cushions...and sent me 3 she replaced...
put one here...not sure where the other ones are going to go...
she also picked me up 4 finials at Menard's yesterday...they will be feet for the glass house when we redo it...
I want the window panes vertical...so we are going to take it all apart...put it all back together...
and then white wash the outside...
it will happen sometime this summer...
the lightening bugs were out last night...
its a little early for them...
things are just moving along way to fast this year...
take time to be poky tonight...and enjoy the moment...

afternoon fun...

I got my Halloween hang tags done today...
I bought eyelash yarn on eBay...
just waiting for it to arrive...
then I can bag and tag these and put them up for later...
I want to get some photo albums done and matchbook candies....
I want to put the little bags of candy corn in the matchbook candies...
but will have to wait till those appear in the stores...
but I can get everything else ready to go...
then I can move onto Christmas collages and start all over...
have a great afternoon...
we have boom booms moving in...

My son is learning the ways of the lens...

and this is his morning walk about...
he is learning fast...
he is learning to see light...
and shadow...
to look up...
queen ann's lace...and to see the weeds...
mulberries...most people around here cut these down...we do not...they feed the birds...
he is also learning composition...
and to know where the sunlight is coming from...
and to find all the hidden places no one else sees...
this needs weeded this weekend ...
take a walk about...and look for things you don't always see...
every garden has its secrets...

What's blooming now...

take time for the littlest things today...

Great news!

the four puppies we were bottle feeding...
have been reunited with their mother...
and her milk hadn't dried up....and they are one big happy family again...
they had given her too much protein...
trying to help her and the puppies before they were born...
but too much can cause infections...
and she had a serious milk gland infection...
which they thought at first was cancer...
but just some antibiotics and a little time...
and she is doing great...
so now all 8 puppies are with their mommy...
they are so much better off with her...
animal shelters all over the country need foster parents...
call your local shelter today and volunteer...
even if you can only do one litter a year...
it all helps...
we usually do bottle fed kittens...
this was our first litter of pups...
I prefer kittens...
just because we have done them for years and its automatic for us...
but it bottle feeding isn't your thing...there are plenty of weened and adult animals who need to be around a family...
so they have more one on one time with someone...
it makes them better pets and more adoptable...
if you are looking for a pet...
save one at your local shelter...
they all deserve to be loved...
When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else. Most people in the city rush around so, they have no time to look at a flower. I want them to see it whether they want to or not.
