Happy Pink Saturday!

come and see fall here on the prairie...

I took these yesterday while it was raining...

it was an on again, off again kind of rain...

we got just enough to keep the blooms going...

we are unseasonably warm...

and no frost yet...

in the meantime...

we get to keep these a little while longer...

and right now we have the best of two worlds...

summer and fall...

passing by each other...

as one slips in...

and the other slips out...

and soon this will be covered white...

soaking up these last few moments...

absorbing the color...

and the pink...

I was having a hard time coming up with something for this week...

and I thought I would just skip it...

and the answer was right in front of me...

this is just to the left of me while I blog...

sitting right on my desk...

and I know a lot of  you do not like silk flowers...

but I love these roses...

and they are pink...

we have cats who like to steal flowers in the night out of the vases and leave them all chewed up in the middle of the living room floor...

but they don't bother these...

so, this is what I must do here...

Charlie has brain tumors and is going through chemo...

his whole world is doctors and hospital rooms...

iv drips with the promise of better tomorrows...

and I am sending pink angels to take care of Charlie and his family...

because miracles come from angels...

messengers of God...

and Charlie is getting a special make over by earthbound angels who have taken the time and energy to make the world a better place for Charlie and his family...
