3 days left...

a couple of the babies...

the are super sweet and cuddly, and starting to talk to me when I look in on them...

had a visitor yesterday afternoon...
and she looks pregnant...
doesn't she?

just hanging on the window...
wrong time of the year to be having babies...

got the dryer fixed yesterday...
had trouble with it getting hot at times...
it was the dial thing...
but it would work...
just had to run it a few times sometimes...

the estimate on the car isn't going to be good...
our body man, Brian, said if it was full coverage...
they would have totaled it out...
the rocker panel is going to be a fortune...
so we will see...
he isn't finished with the estimate...
we will probably just put enough in it to get it functional, safe and road legal...
and we might have to save up to do that...
but we are good on transportation now, so we can do that...

starting to feel a little better...
DH and I think we have had a touch of some kind of bug...
cold? flu?
its a lot like allergies with a low grade fever sometimes and feeling tired off and on...
maybe there is something going around...
we haven't felt really bad but we lose our  zip when we are doing things really fast...
many breaks to get things done during the day...

3 days left of warmer weather!
then we will be in the mid 70s most of the time...
and the nights are going to be cool enough to use the fire pit on the weekends...
the weekends will be spent getting the rest of the flower beds ready for winter...
the nuts are really falling off the walnut trees...
cleaning up and getting things put away...
so we are ready if it turns cold quick...
I think we will have a warm winter with moderate rainfall...
its how it looks in my yard...
we don't rake and burn leaves in the fall...
I use the mower and mulch and blow them into the flower beds...
and we put the walnuts in them, too...
so the squirrels can find them in the winter...
we rake it all out and burn in the spring...
keeps the plants safe through the winter with a covering...

have good days...
Craig is off tomorrow and we have 3 totes of toys in the living room that he needs to get to storage...
so we can have the living room back...
:O)
we are scraping our popcorn ceilings...
hallway is done...
doing the living room and kitchen, too...
don't like all the dust...
but it will be worth it when we get it done...
then painting...
ready to have that done...
then onto the kitchen cabinets that are left...
our fall/winter project...
will be glad when its all done...
just takes time...

hugs and prayers...
have great days...

catching up...

the weekend came and went...
inside stuff, mostly...

got the car on Thursday...
title transferred and tags and sticker done...
Craig loves it...

babies are getting bigger and look good...
fat little tummies and starting to play a bit...

we are dry and hot...
doesn't feel like fall yet, but looks a little like it...

no one is in the fields here yet...
late start last spring...

need to get some photos sometime...
just haven't felt very good, but I'm not sick or anything...
I don't think..

so, that's what's going on...
not a lot of anything...
:O)

have good days

evening time...

the end of summer is upon us...

some things look ok, still...

and other things, not so much...

but it all happens in God's time...

we get compliments on our yard all the time...

and we don't do anything special to it...

but we love it...
although we don't have a lot of money to put into it...
it always "happens" every year...

not so nice looking now...

I will dead head them this next weekend...
and finish cutting down the ferns...
getting ready for the leaves to fall...
and to put them in their place for winter to come...

not sure if I posted on Craig's sleep study...
but tis the 29th of this month, so we have a small wait...
other than that, nothing much going on...
its that time of year to go through seasonal clothes and all that fun...
find the fall decor and see what's going up and fall house cleaning as I go...
not an exciting life but its mine...
all mine...
:O)

have weeks and stay thankful for what you have...
and what you don't have...

ferns and the rose garden...

the ferns have loved this summer...

I need to give them away this fall before the frost comes...

this is doing really good...
can't wait for another few years on it...
the growth will be amazing...

we lost another town lady...
only four years older than I am...
we did baseball together many years ago...
they have 2 boys. also, so paths crossed many times in those years...

are you ready for another weekend?
I am...
miss my guys when they are working...
will love when DH retires...

the babies are doing really well and have fat little bellies on them...
eyes are open and mama's are taking good care of them...

its about time for my nap...
got my housework done and been on youtube this morning...

have good days and hope your blessings are many...

it's blooming!

the sweet smell of the autumn clematis has arrived!

and it's drawing all kinds of bees from far and wide...

probably their last main haul before winter comes...
look close and you can see a bumble's butt!

lost an old friend this week...
a lady who was a fixture in this town for many years...will
and a real fine person...
friend to all...
prayers for her family, please...

hope your week has been a good one...
its been ok here...

Craig saw the NP about sleep apnea and she agrees there's a problem...
and he is to do a sleep study, so waiting on that person to call and set up a time to do it...
and his insurance will cover the machine...
so...
progress...
will keep you posted on this issue...
:O)

happy Labor day weekend...

greetings from the wild side...
got some rain going on...

and a cranky DH trying to get the carpet shampooer unclogged...

and their eyes are beginning to open...
litter 2

litter 2

litter 1

litter 1

litter 1
and their eyes are open, most of the time...

and in the middle of supper Friday evening...
we get a text from Craig...
quarter panel needs fixed...

he dosed off and hit the ditch about 5 miles from home...
DH popped the front back on...
but there are some parts left over...
and it popped the bead on the tires on that side...
but they are fine...
just need aired back up...
so waiting for the body shop to open on Tuesday to get an estimate...
in the meantime...
a friend reached out to me on facebook...
and they had decided to sell her husbands car...
2011 Hyundia Accent...
I think that's how you spell it...
140,000 miles...
great shape...
$2,000...
yeah, well we jumped on that...
got the money coming from the credit union and as soon as that gets here...
we will pick it up...
and there it is...
they let us bring it home and our neighbor is a mechanic...
so he checked it out and gave it a thumbs up...
so, we have a couple of extra cars now...
Craig can drive this while he gets the other one fixed...
and he may take some time getting the money together...
we only carry liability on cars that are paid for...
and we don't have payments on any of them...
so...
God is good...
Craig is fine...
no one else involved...
and we are going to have another vehicle if the others are in the shop...
and the sable...
Craig's other car he got 3 years ago...
is going to a gal he works with...
who has no car...
we decided that the title change and new tags fees would be enough for the car...
we all believe that one good turn deserves to be passed on...
and she is thrilled...
(Craig's been giving her rides to work and taking her home when they work the same days)

so...
hope your weekend is going well...
I need to go google how to unstopped this thing...
:O)
