that's dump and not toss...
cookies are your temporary internet files...
every time you click, you make a cookie or a shortcut back to that place...
if you do not dump them often, they pile up and cause your pc to slow down or not function well, depending on the cookie...
so, hit your start button on your bottom tool bar and click CONTROL PANEL in your main menu...
if you don't see it here, look under all programs...
you either get a window like this...
or it could look like this...
click INTERNET OPTIONS...
notice on here how I have it checked to delete on exit- that's a good idea...
click the DELETE box...
this box pops up and if you check all of the things except the top one, it works best for us hoppers...
do not save your passwords...
click DELETE...
this little window will pop up...
the dumping has begun...
it will automatically close when it is finished...
if you have never dumped your cookies, it could take awhile...
you can do this every day or once a week...
now if you are feeling brave...
when that little window closes, you will be left back here...
you can click SETTINGS...
VIEW FILES on the next pop up window...
this is your temporary internet file...
it should look like this- empty- after you have dumped your cookies...
now, if you have been having problems running programs...
close all of this out, restart your pc and see if it doesn't run faster and better...
ok, this was what I was going to post today...
have an onion growing in the kitchen...
I have green...
hope this helps, girlfriend!
I see you got a post up!
and for the rest of you, you may already know how to do this...
but some of us don't, so enjoy the onion photo...
;)
