White Wednesday...

come along for a stroll around our yard...

there are still whites here and there...

the leaves are coming down more and more each day...

the slow rains have given deeper color to the drab...

and as soon as the corn dries out...

they can start picking again...

yellow slightly tints the trees...

and tomatoes are ripening...

the mum is opening and soon will be ablaze with fall...

hop around and enjoy the whites of Wednesday...

for years I have wanted some of that...

and this year I have it!

it has come up all by itself in one of our large evergreen shrubs...

the days here are cool and the nights even cooler...

we are in the 40s at night and didn't get out of the 60s today...

the sun is coming up later and it's dark before 7:30...

watching summer waving goodbye...

and I was having trouble coming up with something for my post this week...

so I just walked around and took photos of anything that was white...

we have used this so much...

but we need to replace the boards on it now...

there's a new mum transplant under there...

always needs birds in the garden...

my guys say that I'm bossy sometimes...

nope, not me...

just a natural born leader...

well, the day is flying fast...

today is my 49th birthday...

and I really didn't think I would ever see this one...

but I'm still here and thankful for every one I am given...

I think a nap might happen this afternoon, but first I want to find something fun to do...

maybe painting those crazy pumpkins...
