and we had a lady woodpecker come visit...
first time I have seen her...
but he comes often...
we got 4 inches last night...
and they say there is more to come...
the garden is fine...
there is some water standing in the back corner of the yard...
not much, but glad we don't have a basement...
those who do, woke up to water in theirs this morning...
time is winding down for these...
won't be long until the kids head back to school...

before you turn around, the stalks will start drying out...
making ears...
where has this summer gone?
almost gave up trying to get the porch painted...
after this next cold front comes through its going to be really nice...
and if we can get rid of the humidity, we can get the painting done...
DH was better this morning, but he looked really bad...
he went to work so hope he is doing ok there...
