interupted...again...

just to let you know that I have not left the country...
or on a pleasure cruise...

got more babies in last night...
no photos,  yet...
just trying  to make it to each feeding time...

the first litter of 2 came in around 5:15pm...
right after Domino's pizza for supper!

litter 2 came in an hour later...
4 in that one...

that makes a grand TOTAL of...
NINE!
yep, 9...

bottle feeding 7 now...
2 on slop and hard food...

I will be back within a week or so...
if not sooner...

gotta get a shower...
took one on the way to bed last night...
didn't dry my hair, slept goofy and now there is nothing to fix about it...
gotta wet it down and start over before someone knocks on the door and gets my image on their phone and plasters it all over the internet...
;o)
you know its Halloween, but some things are better not shared...
clothes would be another good thing...
on my second night gown since the last shower...
got pooped on in the middle of the night...
;o)

so- have a great rest of the week...
and weekend...
Halloween...
enjoy November coming in...
and possibly Thanksgiving...
(just kidding about Thanksgiving)
maybe...
nah, I should be back before then...
;o)

Be good and vote TRUMP!

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

this blog has been interupted...

by these...
got them in last Thursday and have been wiping butts and making bottles ever since...
but they got their first litter box yesterday and are using it already!
teeth are through!
growing every day...

not much going on here besides the daily routine of dishes, laundry, cleaning, laundry, cooking, laundry...

I got this in the mail from Craig's girlfriend in Canada...
she sent a box with Craig's birthday gift and stuck this in for me for my belated birthday present...
a flameless candle for fall...
and a little jar of whipped honey!
I had never heard of such a thing...
its awesome...

some trees are turning and the walnuts are naked, but the rest is still pretty green here...

we are finally cooler here this week...
its 47 this morning and it rained through the night...

got a couple of donations for the toy drive already...

the ferns are still doing fine...
I found someone who will take them before winter...

been picking things up here and there...
twin bed frame...
painting it white in the spring and staking it down for autumn clematis to grow up and through it...
should work out wonderfully!

found this at Walmart on Sunday...
the glitter creeps me out, but I was brave looking through them all with the different sayings until I found this one....
I can use it for a pattern, too, to cut more out...
so, that's what's up here...
I will be back soon enough...
the babies will be much bigger in a few days and will be trying out the hard food and water bowl...
;o)

another drive around town...

DH ended up having to work yesterday, so Craig took me for a drive around town in the afternoon...

we got up to frost and 33 out...

aren't they cute?
our first frost...

hoping it helps to color things up some more...

spent the day cooking...

meatloaf, chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes and scalloped corn...

enough to last several days...

hoping to head out for Paris later this morning...

Kroger and eat out...

the one baby was adopted out Friday night and went to an awesome home...
still bottle feeding the new 3 that came in...
they are doing good...

and...
CUBS WIN!
heading for the world series...
against my beloved Cleveland Indians!
either way, I win!
the guys are not happy with me at all...
;o)
I have been told to pack...
if I holler for the Indians just once...
;o)
anyone have a spare bedroom?

catching up...

we got new planters for the square this year and they have been taken care of...
flowers are donated by the local green house...
they just got the mums in them last week...

got 4 babies in last night and one passed after the second feeding right before bedtime...
Craig buried it this morning...

they are about 2 weeks old...

been working on the toy drive and a new Christmas Bazaar that a couple of ladies are doing to help the toy drive...
we get part of the proceeds...

rainy, dark and cooler here now...
feels like fall...
even had to run the furnace this morning...

DH got home early last night because of the rain and he gets Saturday off...
they are only allowed to work 13 days straight now...
so he worked all last weekend...
he gets a day off this one...
I think the harvest if winding down here...
field behind us still has beans, but they are the last picked...
should be cut as soon as things dry up around here....

wanting the election to be over...
20 more days?
I am voting for Trump...
he doesn't scare me...
Hillary does...
the lies go on and on...
;o)
keep praying for us...
we need hope again...
;o)
have a great weekend...
and when November comes, get out and vote!
its a privilege many don't have...
;o)
and we could lose it if we don't use it wisely...

I think I found fall!

just bits and pieces of it...

here and there...

but for the most part...

we are still pretty green around here...

it rained pretty much all day yesterday...

and we are back in the 80s here again...

leaves are falling anyway...
just brown ones!

DH worked yesterday...

so, Craig took me out "around the block"...

there is not much left to pick...

hope your weekend went well...

grumpy face in the rain...

I'll bet they're happy to have the sunshine back today...

we saw a lot of tilled ground already...
(that means they are finishing up and the picking corn and cutting beans are done)
our dirt is seriously that black...
grows stuff good!

have a fun day...
I am aiming for nap time, now...
so many zzzzzz's and so little time!
;o)

looking for fall colors...

we seem to be lacking in those...
but we still have color...

not sure why for sure...
lack of rain...
not cool enough...

but the tree lines are not changing...

and we are still "gardening"...

leaves are holding their green...

but, finally...
the last couple of days...

we have gotten some hints here and there...

except for the walnut trees...
they always turn first and looks dead before the others get going...

it might not be the colors you were expecting...

but its all I got to work with....

did I mention walnuts?

the only "real' fall color came from the pumpkin patch last weekend...

and they seem to be holding their own even with the warmer days...

we have had a very brief cool down...
but its heading back into the 80s...
and looks like its going to warm for us through the end of the month...

been a rough week with the tummy flu, but its finally over...
the last 2 days were spent catching up and cleaning and doing laundry...
and taking care of the baby...
who has been adopted and will leave here as soon as she is ready...
;o)
DH...
who's that?
I don't see him much...
he's been pulling 12+ hours a day, 7 days a week now...
we'll meet up again in a couple weeks...

Craig said yesterday that he thinks we will go from summer right into winter...
I think he's onto something there...
I hope not, but it looks that way...
going for a drive today to find fall...
wish me luck!
