Ryan Bruce update:

Ryan had another good day!  Good enough he is getting bored!  If he keeps up his progress, there is word that they will start rehab next week!  So keep the prayers coming!  His mom said the same list from last night is what they need.
Also pray really hard for Ryan's parents.  They are getting so tired and worn out.
And thank you Sisson Times for introducing me to this wonderful family!

almost forgot I had photos to post...

Steve came home with free wood...12 2x6 10 foot long...and some plywood...
could go towards the new deck...
we will reclaim this area...Steve is officially on vacation and do I have plans for him...
cleaning out the shed is another one...
I love my cone flowers...
and this rose...
I love this area...
our trees are really growing...
I told the guys that I want them to get my wheel chair out of the van this weekend...
I have had it for 2 years and never used it...
but I want to go up and down the street some evening to see what's going on...
not sure if they can get me through the yard...
but that will be another post...
have a great night...

I think I found my twin...

last week or so, I was surfing blogworld and found another blog with my name on it...
I didn't know you could use a name that someone already had...
but there it was...
then through white Wednesdays, she found me...
and she left a comment...
and I have her on my list...
and I check in on her all the time...
her name is Beth and she's in Iowa...
we have a lot of the same interests...
it's kind of wild...
so check her out...
http://beyondthegardengate-beth.blogspot.com/
she's so much fun...
her post today is on a garden tour she took...
the flowers are to die for...
and the scapes are fun...
don't forget to pay attention to the teapot collection...
it's an awesome way to display and use them...
let me know what you think of her...
and leave her a comment while you are there...
she likes those...

the guys around here today...

Chris came...with a bad hair day...
it was actually worse than this when he came through the door...
Doug showed up about noon...
my two boys...
laid down with the heating pad...
doing a little better...
I'll just be getting started and it will be time for bed...

what I played with today...

not having a good day...
so Craig took down the kitchen curtains and washed them...
drug out the tub with extra stuff...
found these valances...
we got them threaded on and then he put them back up...
we have one of those kitchen tables that needs shoveled off once a week...
so I sat down with my Mr Clean bucket and started in...
this plate hangs on the wall in the corner...
it was a birthday gift many years ago from one of my dealers...
yellow roses are my favorite...
Rebecca gave this to me on Christmas...
love the color and texture...
my new scale washed up...not sure where it will end up...
but couldn't wait to post it...
my little buddy was running around trying to find something that would fit under the small cheese dome...
he found an apple...
59 cents each...
one of the photo albums that I make collages for...
I started doing this for myself...
hated the covers of them as is...
I gave some away for Christmas...
now I sell them...
remember these?...I collect them...don't tell anyone...
I had these all over my notebooks in junior high...
I love the graphics...
lottery tickets...all losers...
it's the art work...
they all go in my little photo albums...
they are for my grandkids...
as a dealer...
I know it's the paper items that can bring the money...
I collect things that everyone else throws away...
and something the kids will like...
and anything with artwork and graphics...
that's my thing anyway...
my pain level is high and it's been hard getting around at all today...
that's probably all I will get done today...
that and blog...
but you've got to take the good with the bad and hope tomorrow is better...
have a good day...

day break...

morning!...

and in the other jar was...

vintage dominoes...
and vintage wooden checkers...
smaller than the ones now...
I love them...

What I had stuffed in a jar...

vintage monopoly game pieces...
these cards are all there...
the $100's are red...
in later games and now they are yellow...
I think all of the chance and community chest cards are there...
the graphics are fun...
the cannon is missing one side...
the dice are very small...and I presume to be original...
the hotels and houses are wood...
I bought this from a dealer friend who had a shop here in town...
she always had great stuff and gave people wonderful deals...
I miss her shop...
I had this in my jar in the booth since January...
all for $12...
I thought it was a fair price...
but really glad it didn't sell...
I love old games and old jars...
