The majority of it is done...

so here it is...add a throw and some pillows...
I can play with this some more...
brought up my big bird cage...
that's the moon through the trees...
we sat out here tonight and it was nice...
even had some visiting lightening bugs help set the mood...
we talked about our days events...
and just enjoyed the night air...
it's cozy...
and the best part...
if I go out alone...
I can lay down...
have a good night...

I am waiting for dark to finish the deck...

all the things that need done...moved out of the way for mowing...
pests...
bug...
well- there are more flowers than weeds now...it's getting better...
moth...

day lilies...love the rains...

I am having a terrible time loading pics today...
they aren't showing on the download and they are not showing when I put them on here until after I post the blog...
IRRITATING!

You won't believe what came in the mail today...

the new Artist Club catalog with santas all over the front...
the cardinal is beautiful...Nova needs to do this one...
and they had fall things in there, too...
it's really just around the corner...

another during...

we are getting there...
the mower guy is here so the guys are calling it quits for now...
we're doing lunch and working inside until evening...
it's warming up out there fast...

Before and during...

started off with a quick breakfast...I have been in the mood for grape jam lately...
what's up with that?...and I'm not pregnant...
things are getting a bit yucky here...this was my brilliant idea last night...
to have at least one thing that looks decent and clean...and cozy...
"them there are trees, Ethel...."
can you imagine someone growing trees on their deck???
how redneck is that?...
we were going green...but the wrong type of green...it's all scrubbed off now...
used Mr. Clean with febreeze in it...OMG(and that's OH MY GOSH)...it smells good!...
you gotta try it...
then Rebecca showed up...I bought this from her last barn gathering...
true friend's deliver...
and I didn't post your photo, Rebecca...
and she looked so cute, too...
then we snagged the portulaca off of the hook and dead headed it...
it's going to bloom again and again...
Daphne making sure Craig gets it hung back up right...
almost everything is moved off...and the deck scrubbed...
we kept putting this off because we are having a new deck put on this summer with a roof...
but a couple months ago... my husband's job became iffy...and we wanted to wait to make sure he still had one...
so I'm sitting on the money...
we figure one more month and it will be safe enough...
I can't wait...
I love sitting out in the rain...
check back in later for the finished project...
what I have in my head is cool if we can just make it happen...

I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours...

mine have a little bit of everything...fabric and die cuts...tinsel...
more die cuts...corner mounts...letters...
graph paper to plan...pink paper just because...pink tissue paper just in case...
sticky tags...for selling all that stuff I can't find room for...
scrap paper...
paint brushes...all sizes and shapes...
this isn't all of them either...if your a mom- you're know what I mean...little critters sprout legs and walk off all by themselves...
I'm  doing better with these...I sold off half of them...it's a fetish...
projects is progress and my extra camera cable...
ribbon, doilies, dried flowers...
wire, buttons. glue sticks, hooks, screwdrivers, tweezers...
baby food containers make the best storage boxes for little things...
eyelash yarn...
that's part of them...anyway...
so ~what's in your drawers?

the wedding yesterday in Georgia...

the groom...Ronnie...
the family...
John, the father of the bride...Megan, the bride...and Charleigh, daughter of the bride...
3 generations walking toward a bright future...
the whole family, both sides, went to Georgia for the wedding...
Jane, in tan, is the mother of the bride and my friend...
Charleigh...who has no idea how much her life just changed...
the bride, the groom and the minister...
it was also John and Jane's 38th wedding anniversary...
what a beautiful gift...
can't wait to talk to Jane when they get back...
