roses...

been busy today...

playing catch up...

cooking...

cleaning...

laundry...

and more laundry...

I took these the other day...

right after a small rain...

and had them saved back for a day when I didn't take photos...

so today was that day...

I did get a shot of a woodpecker out the kitchen window this afternoon...

I personally think that three day weekend went really fast...

it would have been nice to have just one more day...

it is so nice to work together and get things done...

its nice just being together...

if we ever get a day when its not raining or the wind isn't blowing...

we have some painting to finish...

in another month, we should be able to start painting the deck...

that's going to be fun...

but it will look so good (I hope) when we get it done...

I hope your weekend was a good one...

and this week will be a short one so the next weekend is almost here already...

I don't know about you...

but this sure beats winter...

Tori update...

last fall I posted about Tori for the first time...

bone cancer, a very fast growing cancer...

who made the decision to have her foot amputated to make sure the cancer was gone...

is now celebrating!

she has finished her chemo...

and she has her new foot...

and she is doing just fine...

looks like her hair is trying to grow back, too...

she will have periodic pet scans and checks...

we are waiting on this last pet scan after the last chemo...

if its clean...

she will be 'cancer free'...

she has faith that its gone...

so I am praying for good tests results and I will post as soon as I hear those words...

cancer free...
