the mantle...last week...Rebecca called me on her lunch hour...she was out running to rummage sales...she found the mantle...asked how much it was...I heard the lady say $10 and she decided she didn't need it...I asked her for a description...I said for $10...nab it...I'll take a chance on it...if I didn't like it...I would resell it...
she delivered it tonight...I like it...put it in the kitchen...the only wall in the house available right now...if I keep it...will retile the bottom half...pull out the fake logs...line the bottom with bricks...and set candles in groups inside there...the top is hinged for storage and the backside has shelves for secret stashes...
