The drs did a CT scan and found too much spinal fluid around his brain and they are going to operate tomorrow to put in a shunt...
this will allow the fluid to drain out into his stomach...
and relieve the pressure so there is no brain damage...
then the pt person came in and they had him sit on the side of the bed...
stand up...
and step sideways and back into bed again...
great progress...
they liked his balance...
his mom's prayer requests are:
God's hand in guiding the surgeons tomorrow...
getting Ryan's pain meds lined out better...
too much and he's too sleepy to function...
not enough and it's miserable...
this was day 38 for them...
they have been at the hospital with him that long and they still have a long way to go...
I can't imagine having to go through all of that...
so continued prayers for the family...
he has shoulder pain and they xrayed it and no broken bones...
but it could be a rotator cuff injury...
so pray that that is healed and he doesn't have to deal with another surgery for that...
just whisper his name...Jesus heals...
bodies, homes and hearts...
