New arrivals...

a neighbor found these old bottles and a jar where a house was torn down...
he brought them to me as a gift...
the outsides are washed...
but not the inside...
2 little bottles...
one with a rusty screw on lid and the other, a cork...
the cork one is embossed on the side and says...
3 in 1 oil...
and the bottle has a slight blue/ green tint to it...
these will not be cleaned any further...
to do so would endanger the lids...
they are very fragile now...
now the Ball jar...
The word Ball is embossed...
but ever so lightly...
at first, I thought it wasn't marked at all...
and I loaned my jar book to a friend some time ago...
so I can't look it up...
with 2 threads and a high hip...
it's old...
my guess would be one of the oldest with a screw top...
and it is full of bubbles and wrinkles...
these were the only pieces that were under the old house that were intact...
he said there were a lot of bits and pieces...
and then from eBay...
I had bought these sprigs...
I got 4 of these in a lot...
and 3 of these...
I so hope your weekend is full of sunshine and laughter...
soaking up the fall rays and romping in the leaves...
got the old van cleaned out and now it can leave...
the Senior Center had a lasagna supper to raise money for new ceiling tiles...
so the guys ate that...
I had donated 3 Christmas crafts for the silent auction...
I had told the guys to put my name down and bid on something cool for me...
Craig had to stop DH from bidding on one of the items I had donated!...
Instead of being embarassed...
he just beamed and said...
see, I know your style and what you like...
I so love my silly, silly man...
I had many happy thoughts today...
hope you did, too...

Good morning Tete. Love the peanut pumpkin and the bottles. From the sounds of it, you are very busy!
Have a good Sunday,

Hi Honeybunch...I am in love with that ball jar! and your bottles are awesome! I think the dirt and grime gives them more character...I leave some of my bottles grungy...not worth ruining the tops trying to clean them up.
You sound happy today...so glad you are enjoying this Fall season.
hugs,

Well, as long as you wash up before you put your nightdress on you can leave your bottles dirty...that's MY thoughts on the subject.

I love how much you love your hubby and family-it just shines through every post-even if you don't mention them. Hugs, sweet lady- Diana
