my father in law entered into Heaven...
I can't grasp where the time has gone...
it sure doesn't seem like a year has past already...
I do miss talking to him daily...
he had a wonderful sense of humor...
he was a little ditsy...
and not from old age, just born that way...
I am glad that DH has this day off...
so we can do this "first" together...
I hope God hasn't made him stand in the corner yet...
he's a prankster...
he loved to laugh and to make others laugh...
he never grew up beyond 7 years of age...
he would call me and say...
"How are you doing, uglier than me?"...
and I always reminded him that he was older than dirt...
I never thought I would miss being kicked under the table...
being pushed into bushes...
or watching him pose...
because as he said...
he was BEAUTIFUL...
and I would roll my eyes...
and tell him...
"yeah, maybe compared to a frog"...
but I do...
God's got his hands full now...
I'm telling you...
and when it comes my time to walk into Heaven...
I'm ducking as I go in...
cause I'll betcha he doesn't fly any better than he drove...
miss you, old man & try to stay out of trouble...

Tete- Every family needs one of those characters..Just think- he is entertaining all the angels up there now. Have a day filled with good, fun memories of "Dad". Hugs-Diana
