I have been having this thing with Thursdays...
every week for the last 5...
Thursdays have been my day to sleep in...
crazy, huh?
so a quick post here and then back to work...
here in the mother's garden...
we have planted onion sets in between the begonias...
they are also through out several beds and in the little wheel barrow...
the rose is about to bloom...
there are so many buds on it!
can't wait!
this is my largest iris bed that I have left and we have dug off of the back side many times to give away to friends...
this is behind the park bench now...
say awe!
this reminded me of my doctor's visit last Saturday...
hairy tongue and all...
these flowers are so beautiful the closer you look at them...
rose bush again...
ferns are 4 foot tall...
buds on the hydrangea...
and bugs...
we are having the worst time with bugs!
the only good thing about winter...
last week we couldn't go outside without being bombarded with them...
down my top, up my nightgown...
geez...
had to get beaten when we came in to kill all the bugs crawling!
then if there is only one...
you feel like there are more...
and we finally had a dry morning with no wind...
so my can of spray paint finally got used...
look at this!
cool!
I have so many blogging buddies who have inspired me to spray till it's gone...
need to get a few more cans this week...
think this is going into my booth!
oh yeah, it was gold...
lilies...
pink tiger...
look at this frame!
it was gold, too!
I am so spraying more things white...
this is a before...
battle of the seed pods is in progress...
cleaned this out...
verbena...
got these yesterday...
I was very good...
only got 2 -4 packs...
and dianthus...
was looking for more plants to put in cans...
so pretty...
changing it up...
see the hole?
Robbie can get out of there...
had that fan blocking it...
so had to redo this area...
took the short bench out and put this chair here...
love it...
and this fence with a faucet and bucket...
it was a fountain and the motor quit...
so stuck my bright pinkie in here...
and the fence part covers the hole...
and under the chair..
the little bench is here and one of the shelves we picked up at the city wide...
good for tin pots...
from above...
cooking off a pot of fresh green beans with potatoes and bacon...
you should smell it in here...
omgosh!
and then there's a pot of fresh broccoli and cauliflower on, too!
got more things I would like to get done, but I am getting a little sore so going to slow it down a tad...
it's 71 today, so hoping all my northern buddies are having some warmer weather!
hope you are having a fantastic day and that God's blessings are raining down on you!
I'm off to conquer a hamper full of laundry!

Well, I can see that you had a busy day, Tete. Love all your plants and you have tons of buds! Hope you didn't overdo it today and have to pay for it tomorrow! Hugs- Diana
For someone that slept late, you really got your act together. You took us all over the place. Love the plants, flowers, but will take all the onion you have extra.
Tete... That iris picture is amazing.. worth framing! Your gardens look beautiful. My ferns are growing like mad with all this continued rain here in NJ. I'm about ready to start growing some water plants! Have a beautiful Friday!
