transitions...

color can still be found in the yard...
but it's not here for long...
I am going to transplant that spider plant and bring it in...
and hope my dingy cat doesn't eat it...
so just walk around and snoop all you want...
hope you are having a good weekend...
DH and I have been to the deli, came back and got lunch done...
not feeling so hot...
so I am on my way to bed...

cooked off a pan of pears this morning with sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg...
yeah, they're really good...
has anyone ever made or heard of a pear pie?

I haven't, but why not?
they cook up like apples...
I think it might be something that we try soon...
or cheese cake with pears....
how bad could it be?

You have many beautiful colors in your garden. I love the photo of your chairs too. Pears are yummy so I bet they would work as well as apples. I do love fall. Feel better soon. Anne

I'm so sorry that you are feeling yucky today Tete.
Put your feet up, and just relax.
Your colors are still bright and pretty around your yard.
I enjoyed taking a walk around your place.
Squeezes.

16.5inches of rain between Irene and Lee (Tidewater area of VA) so I have weeds growing in my "transition" garden. Actually, the mums are getting ready to pop.
Transition is the word of this time of year and of this weekend- we transitioned from innocent Americans ten years ago tomorrow to ??? now. We're more prepared for terrorism but are we still patriotic like we were on the week after 9-11-1?

Your gardens are still pretty full of color and look nice, Tete. I am sorry that you are having a bad day. You KNOW you overdid it the other day and now you are being punished for it! You HAVE to be easier on yourself when you are having a good day. I worry about you!

Hope you have a good night. Pop by in the morning-I just wrote a 911 little tribute in poem form. I know you like poems! xo Diana
