got a call from my surgeon's nurse this week...
the marketing department wants to make a tv commercial...
starring my surgeon, to promote the hospital...
WHILE HE IS OPERATING ON ME!
gave them my permission...
no one will ever know its me...
they will have drapes up...
but...
I finally get my 15 minutes of fame...
except no one will ever know...
but us...
since acting naturally will be no problem, as I will be asleep...
I can do that pretty good...
been practicing up on it...
so there you go...
your funny story...
and its all true...
the only hitch...
they need permission from the next person he is operating on...
and it we both agree, the camera crew will be there...

LOL- OMGsh- that is just like you- sleeping through a movie! I hope they do it- they must think it is going to be a VERY successful surgery or they wouldn't be asking to film it- xo Diana
Doesn't seem quite fair to me, you are the star, yet no one sees your face..but as long as the doctor doesn't get to hamming around, and take out the wrong part, I guess I wouldn't complain, much.
I know how you feel...when I had my open heart surgery at Tufts for a tumor on my heart they filmed it for training...first time heart tumor for them, it's very rare!
