the official temperature today was 62...
we had 61...
but either way, it was a good day...
cloudy...
but that's ok...
so was it spring?
not yet...
just a good old fashioned January thaw...
and we took a walk...
and gabbed and gabbed...
got caught up on how everyone has been doing and all that chatter among neighbors...
because we all know each other...
pretty well...
we know kids and grandkids...
pets, jobs, and even what everyone had for supper...
and as we all said our good byes...
we vowed we would see other when the next thaw happens...
and an "if you need anything, call me"...
we went back inside as the rains started...
which will turn to sleet and snow through the night...
and the temp will drop down to 19 by tomorrow night...
big *sigh*...
if only it would have lasted a little longer...
like until fall...
but that's ok...
just 2 more months of this...
and there is plenty to do before then...
closets to clean...
dust bunnies to find...
see how many socks Bebe has stashed under the bed...
but just for today...
it was all put on hold...
to play...
have a great night and stay safe...
and warm...

Tete- It sounds like you had a wonderful, wonderful day. It was supposed to be warm here today but never got above freezing. I am glad you had a day like that- I know you need your outside time...a peek towards Spring...and now snow- ugh- xo Diana

What a beautiful thought, Neighbors that do more than wave, if you happen to be outside. Have a couple of those, that will stop and chat, but for the most part, not happening.
Rain rain and lots more rain here, and temps are dropping. I thought this was supposed to have been moved out by morning.
I guess if I had to have one or the other I'd go for snow instead of rain. I absouletly hate ice! Isn't it nice to see those little signs of spring-I wish it would hurry up already...
All the cold weather everywhere is crazy! Someone said 30 this morning in Phoenix! YIKES! We have been in the zeros and below! Finally they say we will breakout of the freezer by Friday! Not much snow but I will take it over the icy rain! I love rain in the Spring and Summer though! Have a terrific week!
