just a mini photo shoot this morning...

just wanted to show you what God can do...

just look at all the things he can make...

spent a lot of time talking to him this morning...

and I have been thinking how much more will have to go on before Christ comes back...

how much blood will have to be shed?

how many tortured in the name of their god?

how misled they are...

how much lies they have been told...

how they have fallen into this deception...

how thankful that I was raised by parents who believed in Christ...

and the cross...

and I keep having this feeling we are so close to all going home...

we rode over and watched part of the high school football game last night...

and I was so amazed at how one group of people can choose to spend a Friday night...

and how others choose to spend theirs...

that how much hatred is in their hearts...

and I prayed for those who are doing all the evil things all over the world...

that their eyes might be opened...

and their souls spared...

that war is ugly and I think we are to a point to where you cannot tell the bad guys from the good guys anymore...

and I looked all around me...

and there is so much proof that He is there...

and He is HERE...

with us all the time...

and we walk past Him every day...

and we forget to say hello...

and we refuse to see the signs that are all around us...

signs that are pointing to that time...

and at the same time...

there are signs that say...

do not be afraid...

we are safe with Him...

are you close enough to Him?

we should be closer than we are...

we should be snuggling up like the boogey man is after us...

because he is...

and he is throwing all kinds of distractions at us...

lies, confusion, destruction of families and homes...

tearing away our foundations...

the ones that keep us humble...

get closer...

its the only way to be safe...

another hot one here...

hope everyone is staying in and staying cool...

we are lacking rain, too...

so I stay in for the most part of the day...

going out early in the morning and at sundown in the evenings...

still have my hands full in here...

this is the autumn clematis across the street from us...

very aggressive...

very pretty...

and it smells so wonderfully sweet...

it was full of bees and hummingbirds this morning...

so I kept my distance so I wouldn't disturb them doing their jobs...

Craig had today off so we took a walk...

soybeans...

no clouds at all most of the day...

a few popped up this evening,but nothing over us...

saw the moon this morning, too...

and we got back to find this in bloom...

more autumn clematis, but this is ours!

its climbing up the last ever green shrub up by the railroad...

we just have to make sure it doesn't take over the whole thing...

an angel came this morning, in between the morning feedings...

and took one of the babies home...

but the other 5 are doing good...

and they just started hollering again, so that means I must warm up the bottles and head that way again...

so...

I will try to get some better photos of them this weekend...

maybe we can take them outside where the light it better...

it will have to be very early in the morning...

have a good evening...

so here are the newest 6 babies...

these first three are the best ones...

this one is the biggest by far of any of the rest...

this one is doing really well now...

this one is the weakest today...

because this little sick one had gained so much ground in 24 hours...

they were just malnourished...

the mother's were not fed well at all...

there was urine in the water bowls...

AND...

they were really dirty...

so after their baths yesterday and some full, warm bellies...

they will turn around in 24 hours...

and in 3 days time...

we will know who is going to make it or not...

none of them could take a bottle when they came in...

now the top 4 are on it...

the bottom 2 are still using the syringe...

but they are taking 3 full ones a feeding...

slow but sure wins the race...

I am so sorry I am not visiting you all...

this is all I can right now...

the weekend has caught up with me and I can hardly move...

I sleep when the babies sleep...

I will catch up with you when the babies are out of danger...

all doing great...

3 were a week old on Saturday and the other on Sunday...

had to clean out the cage and do a photo shoot...

so this is their first time outside...

they love to cuddle...

and climb...

sweet...

paws...

and there is always one that is different...

always...

waiting on a call...

got a frantic one this morning...

6 babies in bad shape and she said she needed the expert...

LOL...

when the vet can't save them, they bring them here...

???

I don't know about that...

but my mamie taught me how to fatten anything up that comes through that door...

mamie...

now there's a story there...

got into a kick when I was about 3 years old calling my mom...

"mamie"...

I blame it on the little rascals...

but she hated it...

and then she got used to it...

so when I was older, every now and then, I would yell MAMIE!

oh, I would get THE LOOK...

you know the one...

and I would act like I had said a cuss a word and scared for my life...

and she would do THE LOOK again and then crack a teeny tiny little smile...

did your mom use THE LOOK to keep you in line?

they don't seem to do that anymore, do they?

shame...

of course it meant your butt was getting spanked when you got home...

and you would be grounded FOREVER...

and you would be washing walls...

you know, we did always have the cleanest walls in town...

not that I was bad or anything like that...
