even if he did have to work...
Craig and I made meatloaf and baked potatoes...
he even baked a cake for his dad...
tomatoes are chin high with blooms and tomatoes on them...
we slept late and had to do a store run this morning...
and when we got home, lunch...
before the cooking began...
we did manage some outdoor time...
I changed this to...
this...
with the free pots we got...
love it...
started to clean off the deck, but it was so hot out there...
and the air was on in here...
so we came back in and went back out after supper to finish up and feed the birds...
got hubby's company picnic tomorrow night at 4...
just 3 miles north of here in a state park...
so not too far to go...
Craig has to work, so will miss it this year...
and I need to be on my toes...
there are rumors that some of the guys he works with...
might push me into the lake...
;0)
I might have said a thing or two in the past...
all in jest, but I do poke fun when I can...
and they haven't forgotten...
silly men...
take Mark, for instance...
his wife posted on facebook that she needed help finding her daughter a prom dress that didn't cost a fortune...
I might have said...
"look in Mark's closet"
and then there's Scotty...
the first time I saw him...
I might have said...
"he looks just like Elmer Fudd!"
which was heard by their boss...
who thought it was hilarious, because he did...
and then at work, he did a search online for Elmer saying certain lines...
and would play them over their radios...
and while the guys were eating lunch inside...
and there are a couple of others, too...
I might want to put noodle floats on the wheel chair...
would hate to lose a good chair in the lake...
;0)
I hope they don't pick one of the places that has a boat ramp...
pray for my chair...
;0)
