Nick came tonight to stay until his mommy and daddy are found...

I don't think he will be here long, he is so sweet!

been a very busy day here...

shampooing carpets...

new doggie in the house...

I got one nap in today but I think I needed 2...

we are supposed to get the truck back tomorrow!

can't wait...

another busy day here...

just a glimpse of the bedroom, but it is finished...

and after a trip to the hospital to take back my 24 hour urine sample...

we ate lunch at Burger King and then home again...

back up town here to help Kyle rearrange the furniture...

he has really sold down over the summer and ordered in about 5 new things...

this is one of them...

sofa and love seat...

love the pillows...

and an entertainment center for flat screens

I have been onto him about getting these in forever!

so this didn't take too long with 3 guys moving things around...

he is still pretty bare...

almost out of coffee and end tables...

and lamps!

needs more on the walls, too...

I am pupt...

had to take a nap this afternoon late...

had supper later than normal...

but I am holding my own...

got a little guy coming tomorrow...

we are fostering a smaller dog that they had to rescue quick from a kill shelter...

Nick will be here sometime tomorrow...

I am sure he won't be here long...

this rescue where we got Charlie moves an amazing amount of dogs...

and is able to find the most wonderful homes possible...

they have asked for volunteers and I put my hand up...

they have asked me to run their online auction...

should be fun...

if I don't buy too much...

hanging out tomorrow with the hubs...

cleaning and laundry, but nothing too hard...

we old folks need to rest up some after the last 2 days...

the vacation has begun...

got in some yard work this morning before lunch...

tree trimming, south yard cleaned up and dead heading the day lilies...

we had a couple of bird watchers...

and the temps were great all day...

in the 70s here...

DH conquering the jungle...

we hauled and hauled stuff like this to the burn pile...

beans need rain...

we came inside and did lunch...

then worked on our bedroom...

thought about moving things around...

then thought again...

but we did move everything out and cleaned behind and put it back...

on half of the room...

the other half comes tomorrow...

but I have homework tonight...

grabbing the Mr Clean and washing up the junque...

so its ready to go back in...

and did we purge!

took yesterday off since I didn't take any photos at all...

had storms move through, got .2 of rain is all...

but high winds today blew all of the humidity out of here...

and it was actually nice outside this evening...

the glads are in bad shape...

too much rain and humidity and they do not like it at all...

but the radishes love it and so do the coleus...

snap dragons keep trying to seed on me...

and the rose bud inpatients have some yellow leaves...

in love with these...

the babies are doing good...

trying to void on their own now...

a lot of butt baths and towel changes...

added some cereal to their bottles to slow things down a bit...

day lilies are counting down...

not many more to go...

this was from a friend of mine and only have one of them out front...

got to trim some limbs this week...

yeah, you're full and sleepy...

and you need your face washed...

they are good babies...

sleeping long periods of time...

still not pooped yet...

but that will happen as much as they eat...

and I went out and filled the bird feeders tonight and turned around...

and the petunias are growing pretty on the other side, too...

its funny that the plants on the inside are trying to get out...

and the honey suckle on the outside is trying to get in...

DH is keeping his eye on the first pepper...

mums in July...

sure won't be as pretty this fall...

but I can always buy more...

day lilies have less than a week to go...

but the roses will go on until it snows...

I LOVE my yellow knock out and can't wait until it gets as big as the others...

just another day of babies, bottles and naps...

just one more day for DH...

and then he's mine for a week...

and the babies have awakened, so off I go to heat their bottle...
