on the outside...

we seem like a normal family...

but if you take the time to come a little closer...

you will see the nuts...

had a down day yesterday...

shadows cast by the setting sun...

so it became family portrait day...
Lester...

Hermie...
a couple of our nuts...

Mr Wiggles joined in...

oh, I'm not done yet...
one goofy dog showing the other goofy dog the art of bird watching...

how do you know if you have a happy dog?
when their tail beats the crap out of your petunias...

now I know why people hang these baskets high...

and some fun news...
hope you're not eating breakfast...
but baby girl pooped in the litter box yesterday...

and they are starting to play around now...
still on the bottle and still being stimulated some...

guess who's getting a bath today...
and I'm not doing it...
I will bathe the other one...
poor guy has been Nick licked so much, bad hair day just doesn't cover it anymore...

DH is working 12 hours today...
up at 3am to get him off and feed the babies...
and do my post...
heading back to bed for the other half of the night sleep...
sweet dreams...

And I thought I was up early.....:) Your little nut of a family is precious.. I love animals but you LOVE animals... I thought 2 cats and a dog was a handful. Good for the little one...I know it must be a relief when they begin to do things on their own. I have a chocolate Lab Pit bull mix.. He hates baths and I hate giving them to him. We actually have to spell the word or he takes off and hides...lol I love the old door and the pic of the clothesline...LOVE! Have a great day....enjoy your rest. Blessings!

My goodness your photo's are so striking and I look forward to seeing the photo's you take. So beautiful! Thanks much. One of your blog friends. Dawn

It is so funny when a dog knows words, and you forget. We had one, who understood words, and was known, when he heard the word outside in a conversation, would go get his leash and bring it to get it on, he was ready to go.
Baths, I think they are an acquired taste in dogs, and if he hasn't been bathed regularly, may take awhile to get used to it. Try treats afterward.

since i am in the midst of 3 days of (cough...cough) "collecting stool specimens"for one of those yearly tests... i am exceedingly happy for your little baby, managing to go, in her litter box.
