the prairie is more than fields of corn and beans...

much more...

while we were putting out the donation boxes yesterday...
we took a short drive just out of town...

a nice sunny, but windy, day...

the winds have shaken most of the color from the trees...

and it seems like an ocean of stubble surround us...
we can see for miles again...

but soon that color will fade, too...

and this world will turn white...

but just for the today...
see the colors still there...

hope you have a fun day...

Tete- Those are gorgeous Fall pictures. I just love them! Someone was posting about backgrounds on blogs the other day and I said I don't really like them...but I will except you from that rule because yours are always so pretty and don't distract from the blog content at all.

Hope you have a great day- xo Diana

Tete, Glad you had an enjoyable ride about to see all the pretty that is still hanging on. Ted and I did the same thing yesterday. We saw that the trucks were 3 abreast and lined up at Cargill's elevator. Busy harvest here in central Indiana. Hope you have a great day...it's rainy here and we are going to Vote. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
