the weekend is approaching...

got to get a few things done around here today...

but not too much...

need to feel good for Saturday...

I have spent the last two days making cushion covers and curtains for the kids's pop up camper...

and they bought the most difficult fabric to work with...

but its done and I am not doing that again, ever...
;0)
I have kids who think mom can do anything...
which gets me into all kinds of trouble...
so, got to get some mowing and trimming done...
check for weeds and stuff out of place...
and the yard will be good to go...
have another mess of green beans to cook off, too...
;0)

I was asked yesterday to come up with a banner for the dog rescue where Charlie came from and where we have fostered dogs...
a new foster just came in...
her name is Bella and her daddy is overseas...
he was notified that his girl is safe...
and will be waiting for him when he comes home...

and then I made this banner for my facebook page...

love creating these...

Tete, I would love to play along with you on the computer...girl you are so good. Love the banners. Oh believe me I know what you mean about our children thinking with are an endless source of work and talent. LOL. My daughter Angie knew I have always done the painting of our house...all of it, the ceiling , walls and even outside trims. So I ended up painting the whole interior of her new house about 4 years ago. That was a job and lots of ladder climbing which kills my feet. But I have always had to do things for myself....I was hoping it all rubbed off on my kids. :):) Bless you and yours for a fun filled 4th. xoxo,Susie

Tessa~ Here there be musing said...

I read before, about a family who kept a foster dog... How simply wonderful.

Especially for a deployed military.

Wishing you a Happy and Safe 4th of July,
Tessa
