we are having nippy mornings and cool evenings here...
and harvest is in full swing...
picking, cutting, hauling...
just waiting for the leaves to turn...
and it is starting...
but the grass is still growing...
just dipping into the mid 40s at night...
I love the morning light as it falls across the yard...
the walnut trees are pretty bare now...
dropping nuts everywhere...
the hibiscus, cut back several weeks ago...
is leafing out again...
you need to cut them back to the ground every 5-7 years to keep them full and thick...
prayers for a safe harvest day...
and the many things going wrong in the world today...
so many things...
thankful its not us or our town...
suffering on all levels...
grateful for the promise of forever peace...
;0)
have good days...

Tete, I love the morning shadows and the sunset ones also. It seems a quieter time of day. Hope all the harvest goes well there and here. My neighbor and his uncle did corn yesterday. They got their crops out early in Spring. Hope you are doing well. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
P.S. I am thankful for the peaceful world God has promised.
Happy Autumn to you and yours. Love seeing the photos of your yard-it is wonderful to have cooler days and nights. We are enjoying touches of fall as well.
Hugs,
Noreen
Beautiful photos Tete. Your camera talents are inspiring. Your display at night is awesome. Love seeing your fur baby in a hoodie. Too Cute!!
The shed on the witch is a great touch.
Love the rose in the last photo.
Happy Fall, Blessings and Hugs, cm
Hi Tete! Beautiful photos as usual! I had no idea that we could plant hibiscus in IL. I always thought it was a tropical plant that us flower lovers would have outside in the summer and get rid of in the fall. I do have a beautiful hibiscus in a hanging basket right now that I would hate to get rid off. Would I be able to plant it into the ground right now? Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Kelly
