after some nasty winter-like weather...

this is wonderful...

it looks and feels like spring...
(I know its not the real thing)

but its a nice break from all the cold and snow...

we have had our share of cloudy days, too...
so the sunshine is a bonus...

I need to come up with some plans soon...
of where to begin after the corn stalks are raked...

to prune or not to prune?
oh, heck, why start now?
my tiny, little ever green bushes out front...
they weren't supposed to get this big at all...

to paint or not to paint?
I really like the patina...
what do you think?

I think the yard just needs a massive cleaning up...
thinning plants in the beds...
we still have some pruning to do, but its all small limbs...
so we can do that in the spring...

so many possibilities out there...
and I am ready to be on the deck again...
swatting flies and skeeters...
better than frost bite any day...

I am hoping to have a productive weekend here...
and it doesn't matter who does the work, as long as we get something done...
will be finishing up the kitchen this spring, too...
as soon as I can open windows...

planning on getting some sewing done, though, before it warms up too much more...
I won't be in the mood to do it then...
;0)
have some really good and fun weekends out there...
;0)

It is nice to have a little sunshine now & then. I vote for leaving the patina on the bench.
I nominated you to particpate in a 3 Day Quote Challenge today. Feel free to participate if you have time, if not that's okay too.

Tete, I just look at yesterday post too. Wow something is growing. Oh those nasty corn stalks will ruin your lawn if left too long when it warms up. I love you sunny pictures. It was like spring here today also. Yesterday was prettier but today was warmer...53 degrees !!
Tete , my heart feels broken ...Gert's husband Tom has passed away. I kept praying he would get to come home. I am praying everyday for Diana and John. I never knew I could become so attached to people thru blogging. You are like family to me too...so please take good care of yourself. Bless your heart, xoxo, Susie
