our town's Easter Egg Hunt was at noon on Saturday...
and it was a beautiful day for it!
there's Eli with his dad, Mark...
I think he has the hang of it this year...
they put candy in the eggs...
you get your candy out and give the eggs back and they reuse them every year...
and in a few of them, they put this...
that means you get to pick out a basket from the Easter Bunny...
Eli picked the cow one...
it had a Frisbee, a chocolate bunny and inside the box was a gift certificate...
free pizza slice from Casey's General Store...
he was happy...
and you get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny for the town newspaper!
funny story about that photo...
our newspaper editor/owner was up there to get photos...
and both her batteries were dead...
frantic, she searched the crowd...
saw me and yelled, "I need you!"
so, I got the photo for her...
offered her my camera to finish out the activities...
she said no, that she had another camera with different batteries down in the office and was going to run after that one...
but would have missed this photo...
so I took it and sent it to her in an email...
:O)
what a morning...
we got up and did the cooking for dinner...
and then uptown for this fun time...
saw the car show and back home to eat...
Doug and Paula brought me an Easter Lily...
and its so pretty...
I finally got my nap in at 7pm that day...
car show photos tomorrow...
and then more later on in the week of the rest of it...
:O)
hope you had a fun weekend...
and could I get prayers for my cousins and their families?
my aunt Marie crossed over Jordan Saturday night...
and she went so easy...
:O)
just imagine your first 24 hours in Heaven is on Easter!
what a party that must have been!
aunt Marie was the sweetest soul...
I haven't heard of the arrangements yet, so just pray them through the week...
:O)
Have a great Monday...
I am cleaning here after the weekend...
laundry...
and napping...
plenty of napping...

Tete, I almost missed this post.. I love what a wonderful egg hunt the town had for the children. I will pray for your loved ones. You aunt sounds like she was loved. That is so good. She is certainly being loved now. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
