what a way to start summer...
praying for those who might not have ac...
dh goes out in the evening and waters...
not watering everything every night...
he's got a rotation planned...
it's been 10 days since we mowed last...
it's just not growing...
we need cooler temps and rain...
so Ida, send some this way, please!
dh did a meat haul yesterday, so we will be putting that in the freezer today...
2 big family packs of ground beef to cook and cool and bag...
we started this a couple years ago...
we cook it down, drain and bag it for the freezer...
saves so much time when making suppers!
we set it down the night before we need it and then just dump it in whatever you are making...
I do that with cooked whole chickens, too...
just de-bone and then make up portion bags for noodles or soup...
got some broccoli to steam and a watermelon to cut up...
just some inside play time...
it's not bad cooking things in the ac...
we have young squirrels and baby bunnies in the yard...
got water out for them and the birds...
keeping the feeders full...
