it's been another morning on the phone...
trying to get my RX insurance back to normal...
got an email yesterday saying the company DH retired from had it all straightened out and sent the info to BCBS...
yep...
finding that email is a problem...
if BCBS could find the email they sent...
they could update my info through them and post a new card online...
but...........
there's a lot of emails to go through...
so its back to waiting...
but I believe God has his hands on this...
and things will get done...
my cold is still with me...
its a tough little germ, this one...
LOL
our valentine gifts should be delivered today...
I am getting 2 spanking new nightgowns...
DH is getting a manual blood pressure cuff...
it's what we wanted and what we need right now...
and you just can't make this stuff up...
because its so hilarious...
older people have to have a sense of humor...
it comes with the territory...
Craig won another $200 on lottery tickets yesterday...
so he bought his own Valentine gift...
LOL
I am pretty sure he needs to start giving me an allowance...
he got one for years from us...
when I got my first job at 16...
I gave my grandpa an allowance every week...
50 cents...
so he could buy his TV Guide...
it was an important thing to have back then...
you had to catch the shows you wanted to see when they were on...
and they only showed them once...
so you better know what's going on so you don't miss out...
the bible, tv guide and reader's digest were the 3 best read books back in the day...
now we are dealing with computer phone answering stuff...
press one for english...
press two for help...
type in your password...
followed by star...
you cannot even slam the phone down when you hang up...
or you break your phone and have to buy a new one...
grandpa told me once...
it you live to be old enough...
you will see all kinds of things that will make you scratch your head...
well, we have been scratching today...
LOL
I hope you have good days...
and thanks for taking time to stop by...
Kathe- love your comments and thanks for your prayers...
Jackie- I am sure your aunt is hopping and skipping and having the grandest time on the other side...
prayers for you and your family as you walk on without her here...
be well, be blessed...

Tete, I hate to admit by the time the phone has me push this and that, and then connect, to be put on hold....I have cussed a blue streak. I absolutely agree about the best books list. Knowing you got your g.pa a tv guide just touched my heart. Seems retirement is a lot of secretarial work. You need a medical and legal degree to do some of the stuff they ask for when calling. Yikes. Stay tough. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
I missed your previous blog. $200! Craig better watch out or folks are going to be wanting to rub the top of his head for luck pretty soon!
I just got a mystery voicemail from some woman from our insurance company in some kind of weird accent. I played it for my husband to listen to. Should I respond? The consensus from him was, "They know you're old and they want to set up an appointment to check if you have rugs on the floor you can trip on and that kind of thing." Thank you, Valentine! That makes me feel better. I wonder what Michael from 4th grade got his valentine today?
