Busy, busy, busy day...

tried to watch the sun come up this morning here...but it was too cloudy...
the mums blooming...I like this color...

sedum blushing...

we picked bean greens this morning and will have them tomorrow...cut the stalks on the day lilies...drowned some more japanese beetles...then I started in on getting things together for the junque shoppe blog and found a lot in just a couple of cabinets...I have been blogging on it off and on all day...got some more bricks this evening...it should be enough to finish the beds...I am off to grab a shower and go to bed...been up since 3:30 am...

Evening chores...

a short trip to Kyle's to feed his chickens...mostly roosters...
he built a very nice pen for them...

they were nice...not rowdy at all...

then to Nova's to pick up my balls...

flower bed...cute, huh?...I need one...

on the way home the clouds were great...

my newly painted ball...no more foil to redo all the time...and I love the color...

so, what did you do today???

It may not break 70 today:

early morning walk...

lots to do...cleaned off the deck...clean slate...

got everything out from under it and around it...

then had to level it up again...

then we put it all back and added some ...

need a few more things...

but it's level and solid now...

then...when it's all done..of course people start showing up...tia could have come earlier to help out...

Jimmy Hunt brought blackberries...he's our official picker...and he works with Steve...and he's Nova's son...so now I have to make a pie...and feed the chickens here soon...

It's only 59 out this morning...

I sure didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Need to find warmer clothes. Steve is working till noon and then the guys are going to jack up the porch and level it again. It hasn't been right since it floated in the flood a year ago and has gradually gotten worse. More later...
