we had the most perfect summer day...

fluffy clouds and a blue sky...

shady spots...

low temps...

a gentle breeze...

you couldn't ask for more...

there's still a lot to do...

some trimming to get caught up on...

hopefully more of these days will pop up next week...

found my purple mini gazing ball today...

and we sat out while the sun was going down...

and would you believe there are weeds in the wheel barrows?...

what's up with that?...

our mower guy...

Jim usually mows on Thursdays...

unless it rains a lot...

he mows...weed eats...and blows off the sidewalks...

we have about an acre here...

and lots of stuff to go around...

he charges $25 a week...

we've always mowed ourselves...

but he started last year and frees up so much of our time to get other things done...

normally...

when it's not so bloomin' hot...

I keep teasing my husband about getting a pool boy...

I'ld have to buy a kiddie pool...

but that's another post...
