night photo shoot...

so...

what's a girl to do?

I was wall to wall furniture...almost...

and then I bought another table at the city wide...

so...double stack...right?

my vintage music cabinet is sitting on top of two curio end tables pushed together...

then it made a cozy little place to stick a couple of my favorite things...

so this is what Craig and I did last week when I had strep throat...

just so we could work in a 2 tier round end table with turned legs that I found for $5...

then I found this little green tin garden embossed garden bench at the antique mall when we were in there last Saturday in a booth just around the corner from mine...

$3...

yeah, it had to come home with me...

the tin planter was another city wide find...

$2...

and the candle jar is from the dollar store...

a small tin ceiling tile for a coaster...

so DH can have his coffee in here in the mornings while he watches tv...

toss a few floral pieces in...

and of course my vintage lamp...

and you have a mini make over...

and the makings for a night photo shoot...

I know most of you are in bed already...

but hope you all have sweet dreams and a well rested night...

not as sore as I was earlier...

just hanging out long enough to take my meds before bed...

it was already raining the last time the dogs went out...

so tomorrow will be more hunting for things to go in the booth...

cloudy day...

and I have had a bad day...

but got up, showered and dressed, Craig loaded up our supplies...

and we headed to my friends furniture and flooring store...

I shopped for my friend over the weekend for some store decor...

I came up with these place settings for a beautiful round table...

and then we placed items here and there...

and I was so sore...

so we didn't stay long...

and I came home and edited the photos I took and started him a facebook page for his business...

he has 12 followers already!

and about 2 I went out for a short walk and to take a few photos...

love this iris...

only have a handful...

almost lost all of them a few years ago...

so I dug them and scattered them about....

a fun petunia in a pot...

the lilac isn't dead and it has some really hugs leaves on it now...

and a hint of things yet to come...

been pushing it too hard and it finally caught up with me...

so, I have been getting up every now and then and doing a job and then back down...

rest a bit and do another small job...

trying to work the soreness out...

Craig is snoring on the couch...

not a lot going on right now...

I still have a couple hours until DH gets home...

so may take a nap, too!

I am so blessed to be moving at all...

God is so good to me...

hello...

another busy day for me...

2 walks this morning...

under my own steam...

then Craig and I hit the grocery store...

he pushed me while I pushed the cart...

it worked...

then home to get started in the home office/craft area on one side of the kitchen...

going through boxes, bags and shelves...

sorting what get kept, going to my booth or hitting the trash can...

was doing good until I pupt out...

the photos are from our yard and what we have blooming now...

well, part of what is blooming now...

it is cold today...

it finally just hit 58...

it's ok if this is going on...

but let a cloud roll by...

and it's down right nippy...

there's quite a bit of wind...

this is the biggest bloomer I have right now...

I used to have 13 beds of these...

down to 3...

what the flood didn't take...

I downsized...

I started out with a grocery sack of these from a friend...

iris are my favorite...

I wished they lasted all summer...

they used to use my iris for the flowers for the stage at graduation here...
we would cut and cut and cut...

and you couldn't tell there were any gone...

and then they would use my ferns, too, to go in with them...

I think I am going to have to thin out the ferns here a bit...

need another color in here...

it's all growing up so fast...

rain all weekend didn't get any yard work done...

next weekend looks like the same thing...

y'all have a great evening...

we're doing spaghetti...

and probably an early night...

gotta get Craig up to get some more done...

I am so pupt...

first thing this morning we headed for Paris to the doctor...

in and out in 2 minutes...

the strep is gone...

but now I have thrush mouth...

a yeast infection from killing the strep...

yippee...

rinse with this med that taste like hand lotion 4x a day for the next 2 weeks and I should be right as rain...

so we drove up town and then back to the pharmacy just to see what's new...

cvs for meds...

and we went up each and every isle...

Walmart parking lot to check out the plants outside...

Mickey D's for breakfast to go and home...

then...

I had this idea...

we all head for Charleston...

grabbed the box for my booth...

took it all out and put it back and brought a box full home...

it is not great by any means...

have more work to do here and more to haul in...

then we went to the Dollar Tree...

yeah it was good...

started pouring while we were in there and got wet coming out...

then we stopped by to see Doug...

I was getting so tired by then and we didn't stay long...

it was my first time to his apartment...

he was happy...

I snagged a chocolate shake on the way home...

my whole mouth is as sore as my throat was before...

it is not fun eating...

but doc said a couple doses and I should be able to tell a big difference...

it's 54 and rain today...

so I have already got my shower...

nightie is on...

fuzzy slippers...

goofballs are napping...

they can't keep up with an old sick pathetic chick...
