the beginning of the Valentine's tree...

stripped the tree down this afternoon...

took off the colored lights...

kept the snowflakes...

burgundy and chocolate brown ornaments...

a cupid, aka an angel...

added some silk florals...

think I will try a few pink hearts this weekend as a craft thing...

with some lace...

and whatever else I find in my bins...

DH works tomorrow, so will be a short weekend here...

Dollar Treein'...

well, was feeling so good last night...

after my nap...

that I said to DH...

I want to do something!

can we go shopping?

so 16 miles to the Dollar Tree we went...

and we headed off into the sunset, literally...

and watched all the colors dance across the sky as we went...

and here is my stash...

another angel box...

I  have another one DH picked up for me a month or so ago...

so now I have one for children's tylenol and baby aspirin...

I cannot take adult medicine...

and a black and white storage box...

pretty rose box...

microfiber wash clothes...

you get 3 in a pack...

I got them for my face and it works great!

I feel clean without it causing flaky dry spots...

my old skin is wimpy...

a pack of rose note cards...

yardley lavender soap...

my favorite toothpaste!

I'm practicing for my second childhood...

and junior mints!

ok- these hot pads are awesome!  

they came in 3 colors, but this one tripped my trigger...

and these spatulas are simply the best...

they only come in red, but I can live with that...

I had 2, so I bought 3 more...

use them all the time and we are always having to wash them to use them again...

if you haven't tried these, grab one and see for yourself...

ok, this last photo is my new sock monkey hat...

snagged it at Casey's the first evening at the doctor's office...

I saw it through the window when we were heading home and had to get gas...

the gloves were from the Dollar Tree last night, right by the check out...

I am about to put these on and have Craig take me for a walk down the street...

my sweet revenge for all the little things he does to me...

bwahahahahaha...

he is no match for an old lady with an attitude and no vanity whatsoever!

we are at 55 now...

geez...

so, get out and go Dollar Treein' and show me what you can find in there!!!!

the antibiotics are working well...

I haven't felt this good since last spring...

so get out of my way while I have this window...

or there will be tire tracks on your backside!

I'm back!

they called this morning and we set a time of 1pm for the cat scan...

was not a good night and didn't get much sleep so I went back to bed for awhile...

then got up again, got dressed, ate and took off...

we got there to find that their computers were down, so  they were doing everything on paper...

and the poor guy at the cat scan had to type everything in DOS style...

so, that went quick and we headed for my doctor- it was 1:03 when we got there and they went to lunch at 1...

so, it was a good time for a hot fudge sundae, and off we went...

back in time to do a bathroom stop...

(I pee alot)

and in to see my doctor...

he checked the scan and I have a polyp  in my sinus...

so, when they get the computers up and running again...

I have to go back and see him in a week to follow this infection up...

and an appointment with an ENT...

so that left the next important thing to do...

a whopper stop...

here is the water tower...

an old barn on the way home...

we are in the 50s...

didn't even wear a coat today...

new grain bins going in...

the new batch of buckeyes from yesterday....

and I found this on the camera...

this awesome sunset happened when DH and I were in the doctor's office...

we missed it, but everyone was talking about it on facebook last night and this morning...

Craig didn't miss it...

he stepped out and got a couple shots of it...

and so it went today...

thank you so much for your prayers...

I had complete peace with it all...

not one bit of stress, just feeling rough with the ear infection and a little tired now...

so its nap time...

I have been really sick lately...

major ear infection...

ran to the doctor right before he closed this evening...

got major meds...

shot, ear drops and antibiotics...

CAT scan tomorrow to see what's going on in there...

DH said absolutely nothing under his breath...

he called and took tomorrow off so he can go with me...

its been 10 years of this...

please pray that they finally figure out what's wrong in there...

I'm thinking too many brain cells...

but that's just a theory...

I need to get my shower...

drops in...

lay my clothes out for tomorrow...

just get ready to go...

we have no idea what time...

they will call in the morning and let us know when...

they have to call the insurance to pre approve...

they were closed this afternoon...
