did my morning chat with the guy upstairs while I was piddle fartin' with the banner...

it was a nice visit...

but sure enough, just when we think we can't take anymore of this cold, white stuff...

he figured out last night that he is crazy about cake...

that's what happens when you sit on mom's shoulder and fall off into her plate...

so added to the heart day tree...

I even used the polka dotted box platforms from the packaging that the candles were in...

rose soaps, too...

and it looks pretty in here...

and I saved a couple of the rose soaps for the mantle...

along with the candy candles...

say that 3 times fast...

Mr Rabbit is not amused...

he is waiting for his holiday (and so am I)...

he's not into that mushy stuff...

probably 'cause all the girl bunnies are stowed away in storage...

I was sitting here last night looking at my little angel girl with her blue birds and noticed something really cool...

those look like rain drops...

it looks like the got caught in a spring shower and are hiding under here until it passes...

more fake chocolate...

these are soaps that you can use...

just peel a petal and its like any other soap...

love the color of these...

a little trip to town today...

I was bored today...

so we headed for town...

something we hardly ever do, just because...

but I wanted to get out...

I did a tad bit of shopping...

these are little bitty candles...

that look like chocolates...

cute?

cookie dough cupcakes bites...

with sprinkles!

and a couple of heart shaped items to put on my heart day tree...

found some pink heart paper doilies, too...

it was a fun time with DH...

I love these and will keep them out all year...

and some rose soaps...

in a pretty shade of dark pink...

I think they look like icing roses that I used to make...

see where this is going?

I will get it all set up tomorrow...

and then show you what I did with it...

stopped at KFC and got an ice cream cone to share on the way home...

with me gloves on and the heater on full blast!

it was around 30 here today, but that wind was painful!

it had a nasty sting to it and I got my fill of it pretty darn quick...

came home and took a nice long nap...

finally got warm again...

we are all got stuffy heads and dry coughs here...

there are things going around all over...

so hope we beat this thing and it doesn't get any worse...

well, Craig just turned the critter lose, so I had better love on him while he is in the mood...

I have something fun planned for all of you tomorrow, so stop back in again!

so this was fun...

DH is shopping...

I woke up last night in the middle of the night with the hiccups...

and it was all grease...

probably no more fish dinners for me from the cafe...

finally starting to feel a little better...

puttered around a bit, but mostly sittin' here on my butt...

so, might go take a nap or just wait for hubby to return...

not sure how long he has been gone, forgot to look at the clock when he left...

but we have made mashed potatoes and cleaned up while he's been gone...

put cooking oil in Elmer's and Daphne's ears...

for ear mites...

they were treated and just doing a follow up to make sure...

Elmer is awfully quiet, so I had better go see where he crashed...
