Send Prayers

Craig here with an update. Please pray for my mother, she is not doing well at the moment.

Saturday, March 9, 2013

hello...

just a quick update...
the reason for so much back pain...
I passed a kidney stone yesterday afternoon...
I went into surgery with a gall bladder attack...
came out with one and trying to pass this stone...
what relief it was to have that done...
fibro is not good to have when you have all of that going on...
but my guys are taking wonderful care of me...
and I still need to poop for the first time...
but other than that, I just feel like someone threw me down hard and danced on me with determination...
so its getting better...
looking forward to next weekend, most of this will be finished...
I am sleeping in my swivel rocker in the bedroom, still cannot lay down...
but it is working for me...
I finally slept 2 hours straight this morning early...
I am heading back in there to nap a bit...
DH gave me a shower this morning and washed my hair...
he has been so good and I could have not done all of this without him...
thank you for all of your prayers...
recovery is going slow, but steady...
I am not up to being on here very much, but will catch up with you all in a few days or so...
hugs and love you bunches!

its over, I'm home...

I want to thank My sister in the Lord, NanaDiana, for her post yesterday....
if you missed it you can find it here...

I want to thank all of you for your faith, love and prayers...
the surgery was a success...
they found lots and lots of stones in the gall bladder...
REMOVED...
the hernia was more severe than thought...
extensive repair...
BUT REPAIRED...
PRAYERS ANSWERED...
the pain has been extreme...
and the worst pain is my right shoulder...
now, I have had several surgeries in the past...
but never had this happen...
the anesthesia leaves the body through the joints...
and it picked my shoulder...
sore in the tummy area...
have four holes...
and get this...
they closed with super glue...
you know its one of my phobias...
and the first thing I did when I saw the shiny super glue...
you know it...
I was looking for glitter...
but alas...
there was none...
fwuuuu...

I am not getting around well, yet...
and I will answer all your comments and blog hop when I feel a little better...
love you girls so much!
and remember...
GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!
even when you can't wipe your own butt!
;)

we got s*#@...

well, I guess one more time is ok...

as long as we can get to the hospital in the morning...

the roads are terrible and visibility is nothing...

flat ground = a lot of blowing and drifting...
even with no more snow falling, what we do have will blow like a blizzard...

can you see me now?
I watched out the window as Craig took photos outside...
he threw a snowball at me...
good thing the window didn't break...

and DH made it home ok this afternoon...
we had much worse snows than this in Ohio, and we got around ok...
but the people here are crazy!
they want to do 55 no matter what...
you just can't do that...
they do not plow and salt here either like they did in Ohio...
they only salt major intersections and bridges...
that's it...
but one good thing is that it doesn't last long here...

tomorrow is the big day...
they better not send me home again...
but its ticked off and he may have to cut me open...
I did so well for so long, but they just waited too long...

thank you so much for all your prayers on our behalf...
I am taking Him with me tomorrow...
and holding His hand as the day unfolds...
I will let you know as soon as we can...
they will keep me awhile, and if all is well I get to come home...
if I am sick and not doing so hot, they might keep me overnight...
so, until then...
;)
hugs

state park, continued...

well, finally getting to post these...
this is on the edge of the state park in a field of winter wheat...

there are so many deer in this area...
but if you look closer, you will see they have friends...

just up in the left corner...
wild turkey...

so many and not enough hunters...

well, someone scared them and they are heading for cover now...

bye bye...

and into the state park...
just take a look around...

that's a deer stand on a farmers field just outside of the park...

and on our way out, a hawk flew past my window and landed in a thicket...

this is typical under growth in the park...
in the summer you won't see anything past it...

such a pretty baby...

and what's left of the snows...

it was such a pretty and sunny day...
and then I get home...
and another gall bladder attack hit...
lasted over 23 hours...
but I am up now, not sure how long...
and I ate just a tiny bit...
shaky, achy and blah right now...
just 2 more days...
countin' 'em down here...
;)
