its been a good weekend...

we worked on these this weekend...

surface roots...

that the lawn mower hits...

we started on them yesterday...
and took forever to do what we did...

they are all over the south side of the yard...

this morning, Craig and I made breakfast for DH...

and he wanted to go out and finish what we had to go...
but after a half of an inch of rain...
they came out much easier...
and soon we were done...

so DH had been wanting to do this...
so we packed up the old wheel chair and went out to the state park...

and as soon as we got on the foot bridge...
someone was watching us...

the path is paved for wheel chairs...

it winds back into the woods and then runs along the lake...

it is so peaceful and quiet back in here...

the concession stand on the other side...

and back to the parking lot...

its a nice trail...
we did this so many years ago when it was only gravel and I walked it back then...
I loved being out there again...
been way too long...
hope you had a good day...
;)

Happy Father's Day...

to our dads and my grandpas...
all are on the other side...
and to DH...
for being a great dad to our boys...

our Friday...

our morning walk...

can you see the bird?

day lilies down the street...

then a photo shoot with Craig...

supper...

and a drive last night...

Craig and I woke up with tummy problems this morning...
laying low today...
we put in some very minor effort this morning outside...
but DH did 99% of the work...
Craig's in bed again and I am heading there...
have a good weekend...

kneeling...

being on your knees puts things in perspective...

kneeling shows you things you might have missed...

being lowered lets you think of higher places...

in gardening you place a trust in a tiny seed...

trust in tomorrow...

trust that God put everything in a tiny little package...

so that small things become big things...

and kneeling amid all those promises...

should keep us on track with our lives here below...

and teach us that what we plant will grow...

teach us that there is a tomorrow....

that trusting Him isn't as hard as folks make it out to be...

kneeling before Him we need to keep it simple...

and let Him do the big things...

and let Him worry about the tomorrows...

all we need to do is plant the seeds...

harvest what He gives us...

and keep kneeling...

hope you have a great time kneeling in your garden...
enjoy your time with Him...
and remember the promise in every seed...
;)
