its another sunny day...

and the humidity is down to 76%!

it was 99% yesterday...

and its not too hot out there yet...

not getting too much done today...

its just one of those days that the time is just flying by...

but DH and I did get the line up on the tomatoes last night...

it reminds me of cat's cradle...

not sure if I could even do that anymore...

and the guys are not that interested in it...

maybe I will get a granddaughter one of these days...

we have totally blue skies here...

not a cloud!

snap dragons!

and there are always roses...

pretty, pink roses...

well, I am going to scoot out of here and get something done...

starting with a walk and lunch...

it finally happened...

the sun actually came out today...

took a stiff breeze to blow those clouds out of here...

but it finally did it...

DH and I sat in the swing this evening and watched the shadows...

my son went to his interview...

and the HR's computer kept crashing...

so she said she would call him to come back for a second interview...

and told him to bring back 2 forms of ID...

she called late afternoon and he goes back to see her tomorrow afternoon...

if he gets hired...

and it is looking pretty good...

he will be sent for a drug test...

she told him 8.50 to start...

and he would have to do this job for 180 days and then he would be able to move up to an inside job...

he will be the cart gatherer, help in maintenance and crush boxes...

he is so excited...

you would have thought he was making 100,000. a year...

but its not official...

yet...

so keeping praying...

it might be good for him to bust his rear...

and some wise words...

have a good sleep...

a little bit from yesterday...

Pooder is feeling a lot better...

on a special food for his IBS...

he had gained weight in the last week...

he belongs to the humane society and we are fostering him...

but looks like he may not ever be adoptable...

we got just under 3 inches total the last 2 days...

most areas were in the 5 inch range around us with lots of flooding...

so we are blessed...

and today we have mostly cloudy skies but the sun is popping out here and there...

got a good stiff breeze happening and hoping it blows all of the humidity away...

still muggy, though, now...

so I am staying in...

if you could take a few seconds and pray for my son, Craig, today...

he just left for a job interview...

for Walmart...

cart pusher...

and he was happy to get the call...

he is a college graduate that cannot find work...

but is willing to push carts around a parking lot...

DH had a good birthday...

nothing special or grand...

but he was happy just the same...

and I will have all this new time for me when Craig starts working...

more computer time...

more meditation time...

more nap time...

life is good no matter what comes...

if you could...

also say a prayer for Eli...

he is having tubes put in his ears this morning...

he is the little boy I did the photo shoot of at the Rutherford house...

he should feel so much better after the fluid drains...

well, off to surf the net...

birthday wishes...

for my favorite guy...

happy birthday, sweetie...

well, through the night the thunder rolled and the lightening flashed...

and we ended up with 2.75 inches...

but no standing water in the yard...

the town 5 miles west of here got 4.5 to 5 inches and they lost power...

so we are pretty lucky...

flash flooding going on...

and its still raining today...

some may be severe...

Pooder is on his way back to the vet for his check up...

and the babies are here for another week...

and it was a bumpy night for me...

and I got up too early again...

so heading for a nap...

oh, its a hot one here today and humid...

so we headed out early to get that one last root ball out...

and it was stubborn...

but after prying and banging and pulling and sawing...

it finally gave up the ghost...

things are growing so fast here now...

there are so many blooms on the green beans...

and the tomatoes are loving it, too...

water melon...

now, you have to remember that we got a late start this year planting because we had a really wet spring...

so we are a little behind...

but its catching up the best it can...

day lilies still haven't opened...
