we never got the thunderstorms, so will be watering at first light...

like that's going to happen...

I beat the sun up this morning...

I am in here real quick to post!

Craig and I made a trip to the local green house yesterday morning...

its wonderful there...

Miss Fae working her magic...

Craig loved working with her when he was in college...

he did 2 seasons with them...

I wasn't doing any annuals this year...

but he wanted to...

so I let him...

he brought 2 loads home from Walmart...

they marked things down...

and then 2 more flats from here...

we sat in the side yard in the shade and potted pots all day yesterday...

isn't it pretty?

this is our last nice morning...

thunderstorms moving in later and then some very hot and nasty, sticky stuff...

so, I will have plenty of time to let you know what's going on here...

another weekend came and went...

it was beautiful yesterday!

and we worked on the area between the deck and the shed...

washed the side of the house there...

tomatoes...

might be ready by Thanksgiving...

future projects...

there's a mile of them...

one lily open...

and more to go...

the siding on the house in that one area is now tan again and not green...

;o)

the roofer guys are up there doing their thing...

and by the end of the day, they will be done and it will be finished...

I am so ready for a nap here, but don't dare do that...

they will be coming inside this afternoon...

to finish off the sky light and bathroom exhaust fans...

I have a silent migraine going on...

finally figured out what it was...

got up with it yesterday afternoon...

but I am holding my own...

and it rained...

another rainy day here...

so I played on the deck...

then, late in the afternoon...

after my nap...

it quit raining...

and I went out and played in the mud...

but this is good to go for awhile...

and it was fun to be outside working in a flower bed...

and changing it up a bit...

you can add fun and color without planting annuals...

;o)

its supposed to be wonderful today...

so hoping to get some more done outside...

if DH can keep up...

he had a bad morning...

sore throat and sinus problems...

but he perked up by noon...

just took awhile to get moving...

ibuprofen, coffee, toast and a hot shower helped a bunch...

;o)

we have a cold front over us and its 70s and low humidity for us today...

have fun days...

well, they got a little over half of the roof on...

the rest will be finished on Monday...

got rain today...

but clear tomorrow...

normal stuff, like laundry and vacuuming happening today...

wanting to play outside tomorrow then and get some of this yuck cleaned up...
