in like a lion...

March came in with thunderstorms in our area...

hail and tornadoes around us...

but we are safe...

and the flowers are blooming!

daffodils will be next...

tulips will follow...

and the lilacs...

all the spring, eastery flowers could be spent before it gets here...

does that mean iris for Easter this year?

bud debris from the trees...

already...

and a new addition...

rummage sale find...

for $1...

so cute, but needs a bath...

on another note...

with politics being under our noses at every turn...

its hard not form our own opinions...

I am praying for unity for our country...

for Americans...

all Americans...

to love this land and do what is best for her...

to come together to make her better...

not tear her apart piece by piece, demonstrating their intolerance for anyone with a different view on things...

I do not support the women's right's movement...

I support our constitution...

our military and their families...

and I support our president...

God bless this land with your grace and your peace...

and keep us safe from those who wish to destroy us...

its time to stop holding things up, roll up our sleeves and get to work on making this the best place on earth again...

and we can do it...

we have it in us to overcome all obstacles...

and rise above...

and we can only do that by reaching above...

and hanging onto God's hand...

good morning...

another weekend bites the dust...

;o)

DH took Friday off and then worked Saturday...

the off on Sunday...

we did the smashy and the sonogram...

techs aren't supposed to tell you, but the words calcium deposit were spoken...

but I have to wait for a reading from the radiologist and then he will mail me a letter...

so should hear officially later in the week...

we got to shop without having to buy groceries...

and DH bought some things for him...

(which he never does)

Craig and I buy the stuff for him, because he is cheap and won't get it...

men...

so it was fun waiting on him to try on a pair of jeans...

and he got a pair...

and a belt...

which he got...

and he even picked out 2 shirts...

I tried to get him to get more...

but I was pushing it as it was anyway...

so we settled for that...

and he had gotten a new pair of tennis shoes on Monday...

so we are making progress with him...

(probably won't happen again)

we did nothing then this weekend...

just daily household things...

no tearing a room apart...

no home improvements...

;o)

just a quiet lazy Sunday...

should be nicer this afternoon...

we dodged all the bad weather...

no storms, a dab of rain...

cooler days...

but no snow...

starting the weekend off early...

just a note before the weekend...

had the mammo on Monday...

they called and there is something in the right breast...

my fibroids are in the left...

have to go back today for another mammo...

and I am scheduled for a sonogram for a lump on my shoulder...

which I have had for some time and we all think its a fatty tumor...

but getting it checked...

if all goes well...

me and DH are just spending the rest of the day shopping and eating out...

and not grocery shopping...

just fun shopping...

which we never seem to either have the time or the money for...

have a blessed weekend...

we are turning cold here and there are flurries in the forecast...

brrr time again...

had a rough morning...

but doing better now!

someone posted a neighbor on a mower about an hour ago...

loving this warm weather...

and all the sun that comes through the windows...

makes your heart a bit lighter...

and you days a little better, I think...

my brother in law is doing awesome!!!!

just talked to him...

its been a roller coaster ride for him this winter...

but he is hanging in there and looking forward to getting up and around again...

they did have him walk about 50 foot today...

its a start!

the good and the bad...

had a great 3 day weekend with the old man...

we have been in the 60s here...

we worked Saturday morning outside...

got a drive in on Sunday...

hauled off 3 garbage cans of leaves just in the front of the house and deck...

flowers are coming up...

this was full of leaves and left over fall things...

took the greenery off of the deer, too...

yesterday, I got my boobs smashed and started on a new injectable non insulin medication...

;o)

DH and I shopped at Walmart and Kroger...

stocked up for another month...

hopefully...

but the perfect weekend wasn't flawless...

DH's brother, the one who just got out of rehab...

fell and broke his hip...

they did surgery yesterday...

delayed until 5pm before they could get him in the OR...

and they ended up replacing the hip...

I am waiting to hear from them this morning on how his night went...

when our niece left him last night...

he was feeling no pain...

and the pain meds were working really good...

;o)

hope he was like that all night...

possibly a 3 day hospital stay and then back to rehab...

they getting to know him pretty good there...

have good days...
