while you are praying for that white stuff to fall just one more time...

I'm over here trying to get my spring on!

we got some moving in this way over the weekend...

and I had planned several weeks ago for this to be the weekend to remove the leaves and debris from the flower beds...

but that's not going to happen now...

I am going to hibernate and hide in here while that's going on out there...

got another sunny day, but the wind is nasty...

54, so in the sun it feels warm if you are out of the breeze...

but if you aren't, that stuff has a bite to it...

made a pot of vegetable soup for supper...

its hanging out on the stove...

still have left over chili, too...

so the next few nights are going to be easy for this old woman...

;o)

not much going on...

DH and his friend brought home a 5 drawer file cabinet their work place was tossing in the dumpster...

not nice enough for inside...

but I am going to use it on the deck to store things in...

rain proof and the drawers are nice and big...

it even locks!

garden tools, bird seed, seasonal décor, ice melt...

its going to be so handy and will go along with the metal lockers out there...

great new storage and critter proof, too...

been planning a rework of some of the flower beds...

got some great ideas...

hoping we can get it all done this year...

itching to dig in the dirt!

a few things that I picked up...

made the trip to the Dollar Tree last weekend for fun things for the kids...

and for me...

like ribbon...

and easter bags...

candy...

but not just any candy...

funny candy...

and funny babies...

so got their bags full...

there are a couple more, too...

and I am done...

I am so ahead of schedule!

we do tacky easter baskets for the kids...

since we don't have grandkids...

we do silly things for the old guys and their girls...

and I grabbed me a couple of the adult coloring books, too...

hopefully, its relaxing and aggravating...

;o)

I need to find or buy some new colored pencils for them...

a powerful storm went through here in the middle of the night...

but no damage...

just freaked the critters out...

tis the season to hide and duck...

it is nice out today, but the wind just won't die down...

been like this for days!

have good, happy days!

crocus are doing well in this early spring we are having...

but so far, only this color...

we are starting yard work next weekend...

the raking of the flower beds...

and hauling debris to the burn pile...

too early to plant, but we can transplant a few things...

the first one or two could have been a fluke...

but I think that they think its time...

I stepped outside Friday evening...

as the sun started down...

on the way up to check the mail...

and was amazed at the growth after the small amount of rain that we got...

sedum...

got a few things to do around here...

kids coming sometime today...

want to take a drive...

a load of laundry...

babies to play with...

we have 3 now...

have good days...

not a bad day, but not good, either...

many trips to the bathroom are happening here...

not sure if the new meds or what's going on...

but I don't "feel" sick...

just kicking back and listening to some oldies rock and roll...

puttering as the day goes on...

have good weekends!

if this subsides, we are heading for town...

to grab the stuff for the easter baskets for the "kids"...

and hit Goodwill...

its been awhile...
